Very nice hotel at a great value! Staff was very kind and helpful when we visited for the few days around Christmas. Benefits include: free laundry units, a gym, a kitchenette with a full fridge/freezer, stove top (no oven), microwave and exhaust fan, sink, patio, free decent breakfast w/ alternating menus, garage parking, and social hour 3 nights a week. Room was clean and bathroom was spacious/modern. Overall extremely satisfied with the experience and thought the hotel had a great bang for buck. Also conveniently located near both Marquette Mountain, and the UPHS ER facility (iykyk). Would 100% stay here again and recommend to other people.

This hotel is pretty new, nice looking, and accommodates pets in every room, which is a big plua when traveling with dogs. BUT - DO NOT STAY ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE HOTEL IN WINTER. They started plowing the parking lot of the hospital at midnight and the back up alarm on the plow truck sounded like it was am alarm clock in the room next door (I heard the guy next door jump out of bed through the wall when it started), and the 90 minutes of percussion, scraping, and backup alarm was a delightful symphony of chaos while we packed up and left at 1:30 AM because it was clear it wasn't stopping anytime soon because apparently the hospital has a huge parking lot. The front desk clerk was super duper nice and apologetic. Obviously it isn't her fault. But apparently refunding the pet deposit instead of our room was the standard protocol. We may still get a refund, as she was going to pass along our experience, which would be really nice. On the pet note, the pet relief area is a little patch of snow about 8ft by 4 ft with two trees, but it is what it is. They do offer food during the week at 5:30 and it smelled good but we didn't try it. Also BE SO CAREFUL IN THE PARKING LOT! The locals treat it like a road and haul through there without paying attention and a lady almost hit my husband. If they check the footage, he was the guy flipping her off. Overall, would never stay here again. I'd go to the Hampton Inn if I had a do-over, but whatever. After a 9hr drive to get there, with 7 hours ahead of us to our final destination, a good night's sleep would have been cool, but sometimes life has other plans. Good luck!

Friendly, good breakfast, free laundry, nice gym. There is alot to like about this location. The one drawback, is the internet is very slow. Almost unusable. 4Mbps download, hard to work with, and definetly you will not be playing any games or streaming well. That is the only reason I cannot give 4 stars across the board.
