  Pretty place, but parts of room 516 smelled like dog urine. Staff was friendly and offered alternative solutions. Pillows and mattress not the greatest. No microwave in room but there was one in the lobby.

  A lovely hotel! A beautiful lake side room with a broad view of Lake Michigan. Pictures don't do it justice as it's January with the "Michigan grays" (cloud cover). This is the first Hampton I've stayed in with a restaurant on the 5th floor. Yes, I would return.

  TV was broken. Hot tub is boarded up....$250 down the drain. Go somewhere else!!!

  Great SERVICE!!! Accidently left a Briefcase in our room hurriedly trying to beat a snowstorm on 1/14/26. Called the hotel about it Brad 🏅 🥈 🎖 🥉 personally went to the room, secured the briefcase, packed it up with extreme care, and arranged for shipment to our home. We've spent 3 nights at this Hampton, and have been privileged to interact with Brad several times. He is the ultimate professional!! Kudos to Brad. 👏 👏 👏

  The view of Lake Michigan is unbeatable. The room was the CLEANEST hotel room that I have ever stayed in, absolutely SPOTLESS! The barn door style bathroom door is awesome. Cool artwork in the room, not just basic pictures like in most hotels. I wish they put the no smoking sign on the wall instead of on the door wall window...just kind of sucks to block the view with a stupid sticker. No microwave in the room is a bummer. Not a lot of table space next to the beds. Room lighting is a bit on the dim side. The shower pressure was too low although at least the water did stay warm for the whole time. The breakfast buffet was excellent food (for a hotel breakfast) in a beautifully decorated area. The patio was closed for winter which is a bummer because I would have enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and looking at the lake even though it's cold out. The pool area is great and outdoor jacuzzi is AMAZING! The lobby area is decorated well with nautical theme and a cool nod to the original hotel with the room keys framed and hung on a column. The triangle trash cans are cool, lol. The entire hotel was newer and The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and welcoming..shout outs to Brad and Greg. I did not visit the restaurant but it looks like a lovely room to enjoy a meal with a great view of the lake. The location in general is fantastic with several parks around and easy access to public beaches. I can't wait to stay again!
