First, I would like to say, this is an older hotel. It is in need of renovation. After reading the review (after I had booked through my company travel group), I was very concerned. Upon arrival, my first impression was that it's off the beaten path, which isn't a bad thing. But easy to get to the main highways to get where you need to go. The hotel is grand, and back in its heyday, I am sure it was the go-to. Honestly, it was not as dirty as I had seen in other reviews; again, it's just an older hotel. My room was clean, and the suite was nice and large. The staff was excellent, Jennifer at the restaurant bar is fantastic. She makes you feel like you are bellying up to your local bar. Breakfast was the typical continental breakfast, but they also have a cook preparing made-to-order food as well if that is what you prefer. I did not use the pool or hot tub; the pool was a little cloudy when I walked around. Very nice, large fitness room to use.
I mentioned to the staff that the back door at the hotel didn't lock, so you could enter without a key card, and they submitted a service request. All in all, for the price, it isn't a bad place to stay. I hope the Embassy is planning to renovate, because it could be a grand hotel again.

PLEASE READ. Do not believe reviews claiming this was a good stay. The staff alone makes this place unbearable. From the front desk to security, the rudeness was nonstop and unprofessional. The security guards acted like wannabe police, shutting down the pool whenever they felt like it and yelling “GET OUT OF THE POOL NOW” with no explanation. They clearly enjoyed trying to intimidate guests.
The pool is the main attraction in photos, but it is MUCH smaller than it appears and absolutely disgusting. The water is cloudy and you cannot see the bottom. The hot tub was vile, with floating skin buildup in the bubbles. I almost threw up and never went back in. Throwing chemicals in does not make it clean. There were also no towels at the pool, and I was told it “wasn’t the hotel’s fault.”
Our room was dirty and clearly not cleaned. There were fake eyelashes left on the nightstand. We had 5 people and were given only 2 towels. More were brought the next day, but not without attitude.
The elevators are a serious problem. As a disabled guest, this hotel is in violation of ADA standards. Only one elevator worked, it was extremely small, painfully slow, and stopped at every floor.
We also never received a third blanket despite asking three times. I stay at many hotels each year, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Dirty, rude, and uncomfortable. I wish I could give it zero stars.
(Avoid this Embassy Suites at all costs.)
If you value your money, your time, or even basic hotel standards, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. This property is a complete embarrassment to the Hilton brand.
The front‑desk staff is clearly untrained and unprepared to run a hotel. Check‑in was chaotic, unprofessional, and handled with zero sense of urgency or competence. It’s obvious that management has completely checked out — because no functioning hotel leadership would allow this level of service to continue.
The condition of the hotel is even worse:
The pool is filthy and looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned or maintained in ages.
The lobby is outdated, dirty, and neglected, setting the tone for the rest of the stay.
Elevator problems add to the feeling that the entire building is barely holding itself together.
The on‑site restaurant is a joke — the food quality is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one carrying the Embassy Suites name.
This wasn’t my first stay here. I gave them a chance to improve. Instead, everything has gone downhill. This is easily the worst Embassy Suites experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve stayed at many.
To be fair, one employee at check‑in actually did their job well — but one competent person can’t save a sinking ship.
If you’re reading reviews before booking, take this seriously. There are far better hotels just a few blocks away. Don’t waste your money, don’t waste your time, and don’t set yourself up for disappointment.
To the owner: this property needs a full reset — new training, new standards, and real management oversight. Until that happens, this hotel has no business carrying the Hilton name.

My children and I arrived on the December 25th at 8:40pm to spend a couple of days visiting family after driving 4 hrs down and spending the entire day with family. So we were extremely exhausted. When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby was pretty crowded with other guests, talking extremely loud, and the first thing I smelled walking in was marijuana. I walked up to the service desk, and check-in was quick. We got up to our room, and the room was a mess. We found leftover food on tables and in nightstands. A garbage can was on the sink in the bathroom. The garbage cans were not properly cleaned and still had trash in them. There was a booger on the wall in the bedroom, and the list goes on. I went back to the lobby to change our rooms. I waited by the elevator for about 30 minutes, but no elevator came. The elevator was stuck on the third floor with the door opening and closing, but nothing was happening. So, I had to run up five floors to get to our new room. We finally moved our stuff over. As I walked in to check the room out, I noticed the floors were extremely sticky in the hallway and bathroom. I called down with another complaint, letting them know that they needed to clean the room or give us another one. They sent a security guard up to clean it because they had no one on the cleaning staff. I had to use the restroom, and as I was about to sit down on the toilet seat, I saw poop splattered all over the side of the toilet. Not to mention the first night we were there, it took us about an hour and 20 minutes just to get settled in because of the inconveniences. The breakfast we ate, had me and my sons on the toilet several times throughout the day. The beds were very uncomfortable, the rooms are not cleaned very well at all. My kids aren’t older. They are 4, 9 and 11, they are full of energy all the time, I really wanted a break coming in here and I did not get that. Hand soap was empty. We asked for towels several times, but never received them when I went down to the lobby to get towels, they said there was none that they were washing them as my children were walking up to the room, soaking wet from the pool. We had to take showers and use dirty towels until they knocked on our door last minute to give us clean towels. We had to run up and down the flight of stairs several times each day because of the elevator being stuck, not working, or very slow. I finally was able to get a small break to use the gym. I get in there to use the cable machine and it is broken. So I didn’t get to do a complete workout. Embassy Hilton is supposed to be a very high end Hotel. This place was an embarrassment to what Hilton standards are supposed to be. This was the worst stay out of all the hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

My family stayed here in February 2025.
I paid on the app ahead of time. Yet when I arrived they wanted another $200.00 for the key. And the next 2 night another $100.00 each. Said I'd receive that $400.00 back when I left. Basically my room keys would quit working everyday and when i asked to have them fixed they would charge me more money to recieve the working keys. Because we drove 5 hours to get there and had no other arrangements we did it. plus we had spent over $2,000.00 on tickets for different evens while we were in town. So going home wasnt an option.
Then the staff was rude, when I asked for reciepts they threatened to call the police on us. Getting loud, cussing my father and me out, waving their hands in our faces.
The breakfast bar was decent. And my kids loved the pool when they were allowed to go in it. (Which was only 1 1/2 days we stayed.)
But the elevators werent working properly. Sometimes waiting more than a half hour for the elevator to arrive. But there were glass walls so we could see noone was using it on other floors.
Front desk cussed me out everytime I asked for anything (and we didnt request anything but extra towels, working days for our room, people to stop banging on our doors and reciepts)
They said their manager wouldn't be there, and refused to give me contact information for them, because that was none of my buisness according to them.
There were people running around outside of our room all hours of the night, and banging on our door. When I called front desk about it, all we got was added phone calls all night on the room phone, somone yelling in the phone then hanging up on us. The banging on the door and running past the room seemed to pick up and become worst after we called. It wasnt like we were asking people to not enjoy their time, but to atleast not bang on our door. As the events we were going to had us up by 530am everyday and didnt get back till 9pm or later.
I never got my $400.00 back. So I ended up spending over $800.00 on one room for a 3 night Stay. When it wasnt even supposed to be $98.00 a night.
While I looked up a way to contact the manager myself, I never received an email or phone call back.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Not to mention they had cars parked in handicap parking without a plate or plaque in the mirror. Making my father who is handicap walk for a distance to get into the building.
