  Story time lol. Checked in late ish last night around 9:10pm ish using my partners account since he uses points and such. The front desk staff refuses to assist is using the virtual gift card, which fine we’ll pay full price and save it to figure out another time we’re traveling. Moving on we get to the room and i IMMEDIATELY twist my ankle walking to the bed due to a LUMP from the window to the doorway. No swelling just minor discomfort after so I didn’t make it a big deal that their floor is quite literally a HAZARD. Our room is facing towards the water room portion, unfortunately so sounded like the little children screaming in the parks were dang near in the room, even with the window SHUT. Then we couldn’t figure out the TV since the remote wasn’t working. My partner goes downstairs to ask to switch rooms and he was getting in the process of doing so since there were a few open rooms RIGHT ACROSS the hallway! Then abruptly decided “actually never mind” since the “water park noise would calm down in FOURTY MINUTES!” Then came upstairs to show up how to change the input using the TV buttons. Then we call again bc the wifi wasn’t working for it and he audaciously asked us what we did to the tv? LOL WHAT? He THEN OFFERS to switch our room, for real this time apparently, and I just ask if we can be refunded at this point! He said yes because at this point is been nearly an hour of chaos. We go downstairs and we he’s “unfortunately my manager says I cannot refund you due to the Netflix not working but I can change your room” like sir it was NOT about the Netflix it was about the hour being wasted on chaos! Then he said once again he can at minimum switch our room. Then said NEVER-MIND AGAIN because I had an attitude at this point as I just wanted to rest in a semi quite, even terrain floor, with POSSIBLY a wifi connected TV. So obviously he did not tell his manager the FULL STORY or the manager is the worst functioning manager in the hotel industry and we asked for the bare minimum. I go check my card today and there weee MULTIPLE charges on my card from this company as well. Like what all happened?! We ended up leaving to go across to IHG and the front desk receptionist said they hear CONSTANTLY bad things about them. She even made sure our room didn’t face them. I’m upset with how the manager was handling the situation with Erik and how he constantly kept offering a new room then backtracking and same with the refund. This location is a joke and I will be calling Monday to provide the manager with all the details to ensure nothing was left out from Eric’s side. And maybe he wouldn’t have been so bizarre and passive aggressive if he had more help. So you’ll be hearing from me or my S/o Monday as the info is under his name. Best western card transaction at 9:16PM then IHG at 10:25PM for reference as to how much happened in an hour. Room 258 has that tripping hazard/uneven floor terrain inside anyone has ankle instability make sure it’s not that one otherwise you’ll have a potential urgent care visit on your hands!

  I requested my room to be cleaned each day after the first day I was there my room was not taken care of so I informed the front desk so please have my room cleaned each day when I went back to the room after 3 o’clock my room was still not clean. I went back to the front desk and asked to clean it and then finally they did the other issue is that hours later my toilet was clogged. I called the front desk. The lady asked me to do it. I said no I’m the customer I need you to do it. She didn’t want to do it so I said no problem give me another room. She said I’m not gonna give you another room for that. She then put me on hold on the phone that’s in the room. I was on hold for five minutes then I hung up I’ve been waiting for a call and yet no call or anything so I will be going down to the lobby at 6 o’clock, which will be given them one hour to discuss the issue nevertheless, these two things I feel are a big deal because they’re supposed to provide that only customer service but I’m here for a night stay so that’s the least they should’ve done all the two things that I had to ask repeatedly to get done
