  “I had a deeply disappointing experience at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lansing, MI. Despite being placed there by my insurance after being displaced from my home, I found that our room was not cleaned properly over the course of our stay. Even after raising the issue with the general manager, it wasn’t resolved until the day we were forced to leave early. We were also treated disrespectfully by management, and a private matter was discussed openly in front of other guests. Overall, it was an upsetting experience that I wouldn’t want others to go through.”

  This is a three star hotel and exceeded my expectations for a three star hotel. Great location. Clean. Not fancy. Good beds.

  Beware using the wash clothes provided in your room. Because if you “stain” it by removing your make up they will charge you a cleaning fee. We won’t be back. I called the hotel to talk to the manager and left a message 3 times so I called the customer service line and was told there was nothing they could do

  I wasted 40,000 points and cash on this trip staying at this hotel. I've been too many, many Hilton hotels and other hotels in general and this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. We were in town for a funeral and we were treated pretty bad. On the coldest weekend of the winter season, the common areas and a few of the rooms had no heat. The staff was unaccomodating and unwilling to help rectify the situation. The rooms had a nasty smell and the pillow cases had black, moldy spots on them. After checkout, the staff attempted to charge me $100 for "damages" because of a stain on a sheet that was partially cleaned up. I have NEVER experienced anything like that and a subsequent conversation with the front desk staff was ridiculous. Damages are only appropriate when the stains are permanent and cannot be removed with a simple basic wash which should be the norm for a hotel like the Hilton. And I also find it interesting that the lobby and common areas were suddenly warm once it was time for our group to check out. This hotel needs help and made an already tough circumstance even more difficult with unprofessionalism.

  everything was great!! would totally stay here again. located near many restaurants and was very convenient. pool seemed small, but maybe because it was so busy.
