    Beware. I tried to get early check-in but they charge 50 bucks extra for the privilege. And I'm an 8 year Diamond member. I see they responded below. So, I called the hotel and asked for the manager to discuss my review. I'm always willing to to be taught where I might have misunderstood. But they wouldn't put me through to speak with them. To be clear, I called early morning before my arrival and was told there is a 50 dollar fee for early arrival. So, of course, I didn't arrive early. I'm a long-standing Diamond member, not that that should mean anything, and I have never encountered this before. That is why I even bothered to take the time to post this review. I try to never leave a negative comment. I figure, let everyone experience things for themselves. I might have had a unique experience

    The location is good off the highway.. but this Hampton is rather tired and in need of a little refurbishment. The sitting bench inside our room was beat, the vinyl covering was all cracked and chipping. The carpet will as well worn, the bathroom was “clean “ but caulking around the tub/shower area needs to be replaced. Frames around the mirrors and woodwork all chipped up. Old School hvac unit under the window. This is not worth the price they are charging. I have had better TRU by Hilton rooms for half the price.

    Dirty. Dust everywhere and falling apart. Only benefit is staying within walking distance of the Horrocks!!!! That place rocks! 🪨

    All staff that we encountered wee friendly, and the free hot breakfast was wonderful. We booked this hotel because of the hot tub, amd were quite disappointed to find it closed for maintenance, apparently it had been closed for 2 mos. We also found the pool room to be quite cold.

    Giving 1 star because hot tub is still broken and might be permanently closed. Might have to go somewhere else next year. Will update if hot tub is fixed
