One working elevator doesn’t help when there are 500 kids here this weekend. Two not functioning is not cool

In the Heart of downtown Lancing, walking distance from the State Capital. And other museums and other attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a place that we will be staying at the next time we're in Lancing!

Read before you book a room. It started well and went downhill. A warm chocolate cookie at Check-in. That is the good part. The toilet was running when my wife and I went into our double queen beds room. I had to use the toilet- it wouldn't flush. We called the front desk and they said someone would be up to fix it in 15 minutes, or we could have another room. We were on a tight schedule and didn't want to change rooms. 30 minutes later we had to leave for a wedding, no plumber. We stopped at the front desk and said it was okay to fix it while were were gone. Returning after the wedding, the toilet was fixed but then another problem. We went to bed but were surprised all we had on each queen bed was a comforter - nor upper sheet. Oh well. A restless night for both of us because the comforter was too warm, so it was pull off to cool down, pull on to warm up, pull off again, etc through the night. In the morning I noticed what looked like a sheet hanging at the bottom edge of my bed. Sure enough, the upper sheet. I told my wife who pulled her comforter back and sure enough - her top sheet also was wadded up in the bottom edge of her bed, between the quilt and vertical edge of the bed. My wife was livid - it was clear no one changed the sheets. Someone had pulled up the quilt, tucked it in, fluffed the pillows and called it good. Bottom line, do you want to sleep on clean sheets?

Was there 3 days for a conference. The building was clean and parking was easy. The provided water station would run empty and never be refilled.

Really nice hotel. I swear I’ve been here before 30 years ago but I could be wrong.
