- AAA “A”Apr 3, 20261.0We recently stayed at this hotel for one night while attending a conference. Unfortunately, my experience not great from lack of cleanliness and poor customer service.When I went to bed, I noticed a bug on the window, and by the morning, it had moved to the top of the curtain. As I was heading out to check-out, I found a spider above the door. While talking to my coworker on our way to the lobby, I discovered she also had two bugs in her room.When the front desk clerk asked how our stay was, we told her about the insects. Her only response was to ask if they were the bugs that just came out of hibernation.We had a legitimate issue with the room, and instead of an apology, she expected us to be bug experts. I didn't get her name, but she was an older woman with gray hair. She seriously needs to work on her customer service skills if she is going to work the front desk. I would not stay here again; the property clearly needs to be sprayed.

When I mentioned this at checkout, the receptionist responded by asking if they were “the ones that have come out of hibernation.” I felt this response was dismissive and did not properly address my concern. Better customer service in handling guest feedback would have made a difference.
