Nice Hotel and our room was great. The most disappointing part was that both mornings of our stay when we came down for breakfast at 8:30 the food was almost completely gone and not being replenished. Breakfast started at 7, so only 1.5 hours in and you are already out of food. Very disappointing.

We read most of the reviews and saw many 5 star ratings. The hotel is brand new and the layout is attractive. The desk staff seemed to be pleasant although stressed. Upon arriving the first thing we noticed is that the front walk was dangerously covered w/ snow and ice and was NEVER touched during our entire 4 day stay. Our shower handle broke the very first shower and could not be shut off. We were told there are no rooms available to move us and that maintenance would be in at 8a. We left for a long day at the Expo Center working an event and returned to find the shower still running. When we approached the front desk second shift had no idea what we were talking about. We were told they would move us to the 4th floor asap and would bring up a key card w/ a room number shortly. Nearly 2 hr later we again approached the desk and they had forgotten. Once moved we were welcomed w/ the very real smell of ....animals. Empty tissue containers, dirty fridge, and broken soap dispensers laying in the bottom of the shower. We made do. We noted 3 days in a row, breakfast being started by a hotel employee who walked from point "A" to point "B" with his nose in his cell phone. Obviously unable to multi-task the items on the counter were disorganized and messy. No napkins, empty containers and poor quality food. At no time during our stay was the floor cleaned nor the tables wiped down in the dining area. The trash was emptied every other day. On the 2nd day I got some tissue and water to wipe down the table I sat at and managed to sweep up most of the dirt and food crumbs under the table I used each morning while working on my computer. The dirty tissue and corresponding crud remained in it's spot during the rest of our stay. All staff save for the desk personnel were never seen to be working and never seen to be aware of what their job entailed. Poor management. Poor training and a VERY disappointing stay for a Hilton. This hotel is 8 months old and already in a crisis situation. It is very sad to see. And we had to pay dearly for the privilege of seeing it. What is going on Hilton?

Probably the cleanest Tru by Hilton we've stayed at and everything was as good as we'd expect or better. Breakfast was fantastic, one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. Large breakfast area too, could tell it was a newer hotel.
