- TTThermo4 days ago5.0I'm currently almost at the end of my stay here at the Staybridge Suites. This hotel is easily one of the best on this side of the country. Better than anything in the West. The kitchen is absolutely phenomenal. The food they bring out is always clearly made with a passion you will not see in most restaurants. We played bingo on Wednesday evening while being treated to pizza while celebrating a lovely staff members birthday. She was very sweet and gave out more gifts than she received! Every member of staff is incredibly kind, friendly, professional, and helpful! I had a few questions and needed help with some technical difficulties and the gentleman at the front desk was happy to help me then did so immediately and efficiently. I was even given some salt to cook my dinner since I forgot at the store. All of my problems solved just like that! Every housekeeper will smile and say hello while passing them in the halls. They are not only pleasant people but are very good at their job as well! My room was spotless and stocked with basic amenities like coffee, soaps, and shampoo. The bed looks and feels comfortable as the sheets are kept a crispy white. The suite includes cooking and eating utensils which was so very useful. And if that doesn't convince you stay here there is a beautiful courtyard next to the pool where you can gather around a fire or grill with other guests. Great, awesome, refreshing hotel!
- MFMary FindlayOct 31, 20255.0Staff is amazing and fun. We left on Halloween. Front staff was all dressed up. The breakfast every day was fresh and very good. They had plenty of variety. Happy Hour was nice and food was great. They even had a Bingo game for a group. They all dressed up and it was so much fun. The common room is very large. There are computers there. There is a large family style table if you did have a reason to use that space. There is a fire pit outside and seating outside. Bring your own marshmallows and sticks. The rooms are very clean. Some of the cleanest I have experienced. The soaps are top of the line. We had a kitchenette. Everything was there that we needed. The Fridge had an ice machine. The bed was the worse part. It is old. All the other furniture was nice and new looking and comfortable. It was not a handicap room but there was plenty of room for me to get my walker around. I could get to the bathroom and bedroom area. The hallways are all very clean. I was able to relax and put my feet up. I was very comfortable. The staff does everything they can to help make the experience wonderful. LOCATION is great. Right off 131 on Stadium Drive. Sweetwaters is right down the road. There are plenty of places to eat out. Trader Joes and Costco is just a couple blocks away. Very easy driving around the area. WMU is down the road. The perfect place to stay if you are coming into town for Sports or Music.

Cons: internet and phone both out in the neighborhood when we were there. Tub is extremely slick and slippery, an accident waiting to happen.

The location is convenient, and the staff (especially Zeus) are friendly and helpful. I am very happy we chose to stay here and will stay here again when visiting Kalamazoo!

From the front desk staff, the kitchen staff, the director of sales, and all the employees that I encountered during my stay were so helpful, kind, welcoming and gracious. This place defines hospitality! What a great place to stay!
