  We had a wonderful stay and truly have no complaints! From the moment we arrived, Jessie at the front desk was incredibly accommodating and helpful — she made check-in smooth and welcoming. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. We were traveling with a large group of friends who also stayed at the hotel, and everyone agreed they would definitely come back. The pool was a big hit with the kids — they absolutely loved it! The breakfast options were also great, with plenty to choose from each morning. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

  We stayed to attend a hockey game. Lobby was clean. staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok for hotel breakfast. Biscuts not fully cooked, potatoea cold. One of our rooms had a non working light, had a sofa bed and no bedding in room had to ask for it. The other room the bathroom door was broken. The major downfall for us was. We picked this hotel so we could come back from.the game and enjoy the pool and hot tub. Wrong. There was a party happening and upon our return there were well over capacity amount of children in pool, with parents taking over lobby watching through window. Not un the pool area with them. I called down and asked about it and was told they should all be out by 9pm. and the pool closes at 10. Went down after 9. There were still a dozen kids in there screaming with 1 adult drinking in hot tub. The kids were all playing in hallways and paid no attention to others walking. They left trash every place. and screaming in hallways all hours of night. One of our rooms was on 2nd floor and we could hear them running above us until 2am. Elevator was broke. so had to take stairs to the other 4th floor room.

  The pool became crowded, that is to be expected, but there were people and kids throwing a football around the pool area, With so many people in there that's not safe at all. I'm not sure why anyone would think this is ok.

  Lena at the front desk was amazing! She got me a quiet room where I could read my books for the weekend and not be disturbed. The lobby was beautiful and I was able to enjoy tea, coffee or hot cocoa at will while warming up the fireplace. The workout room was clean and had a peloton bike that I took full advantage off. The hot tub was small but relaxing and the pool was clean and large enough to do a few laps. The rooms were spacious with a lot of comfortable seating though you can tell they need updated (that's my only reason for the 4 stars) but the bed was comfortable and the space was cleaned well. Breakfast had some good options and was filling. I appreciated all of the staff but Lena deserves a special shout out! She was awesome! I will stay here again.

  Stayed overnight here prior to music school auditions at WMU. Location was convenient to campus, less than 10 minute drive on snowy streets. (Also, if you're not from the area, don't miss Bilbo's Pizza and Sweetwaters Donuts just down the street.) The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were okay (I've slept in both better and worse hotel beds for sure). The full hot breakfast, though, was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise. Hot breakfasts at this level of hotel are often extremely underwhelming, but this Best Western Plus does a great job. The scrambled eggs were properly cooked, the potatoes and sausage links were too. The kicker, though, was the sauteed onions and peppers, which added a nice bit of flavor to the eggs. Overall probably a 4.5-star experience that I'll round up for a terrific breakfast.
