  Horrible experience, from the day I walked in the door. 13MPS max!!!!! They messed up my reservation told me the room I had booked was occupied, yet then after 30 mins of trying to figure out another accommodation brought me to the room I had originally booked. From that point the room had nothing in it as most extended stay rooms would. We had a blackout mid stay right after a food shop and when i asked if they had backup generators, they did not. Nor did they reimburse or care about the $200 worth of food I lost due to the lack of generators. The internet is a joke reaching a max speed of 13MPBPS this will not even run a video without buffering let alone video calls for work. this is 2026 most if not all people use the internet daily how this isn't a priority is inexcusable. they charge $9 for breakfast (unusual) while also stating you must eat it down in there dining area rather than the room you pay for or take it on the go. Overall if i could give this place 0 stars I would as it was by far the worst stay I have ever had at a hotel while simultaneously paying $6,000 for my stay.

  Enjoyed staying at the Holliday Inn in Jackson Michigan. Friendly staff and service. Check in was fast and easy. Liz was very professional and courteous as was Chandra and Katie who work the front desk. If any improvements I can only think of one and only because I stay there often. I would suggest the breakfast needs more variety, biscut's and gravy, pancakes, bacon not so done, cheese omelets etc. would be a good start. Overall a good place to stay the night and enjoy.

  The five stars is in comparison to other Holiday inns. I travel for work and usually I'm booked at Holiday inns. This is by far one of the best ones I've stayed at. The staff here is especially good.

  Booked a room for my parents Christmas night. I shouldve know we would have problems when we went to the room after checking in and found the tub stopper was down and it was dripping for so long the entire tub was full of water. I told the front desk and asked them to fix it after check out. When they got back to their room that night, after our Holiday party, it was 64° even though the temp was set at 75°. They went to the front desk to report it. The guy working said they had 3 other rooms, same problem but didnt have maintenance on site to fix it. They asked to be switched and was told there were no rooms available. They tried to make it work but by 1am they were too cold to stay, frustrated that no one would help them, so they told the front desk guy they were leaving and drove 4hours back to Chicago!!! In the middle of the night!!! Ive been trying to reach the GM Lori since 12/26 and every time I call I get shes "not feeling well", "not in yet", "was supposed to be in but isnt" "shes at a funeral".... the list goes on. Ive left a bunch of unreturned messages to get a refund for this stay that was cut short due to her lack of management. Ive filed a complaint with IHG and when I called them back to get an update since again Lori never called, they're showing that Lori claims to have called me and we talked. Absolutely not! She says the heat worked fine. She wasnt even there...how could she even know. And what's funny is I went there Saturday to see if I can find Lori, of course she wasnt there. But there was another person who was there to find Lori about her refund. Clearly this location lacks Management. If I have to take this to the health department for not providing heat on a day when temps were below freezing, I have their contact ready to go. My parents are seniors so it falls under elder abuse. I suggest you contact me, Lori.
