Absolutely horrible. IHG and this hotel should be ashamed of themselves. My sister had to postpone a wedding due to waiting on her finance’s visa. Her wedding coordinator called the hotel to cancel in November and gave the bride & groom’s names and the dates of the wedding. They told her they couldn’t find anything under those names and dates so they said they didn’t have anything to “cancel.” Fast forward to December 19th, my sister got a charge for $1,200 to her credit card for the hotel rooms. She called the reservation line to cancel before 6pm and they told her, “they would cancel, but their computer was down” and they directed her to the front desk. It was 5:55. By the time the cancellation went through it was 6:01. The manger and the company are doubling down and not giving her a refund. She called twice before 6pm to cancel!!! Once in November! My sister is a missionary in Africa and I cannot handle this injustice. This is SO WRONG on every level. All they care about is getting your money - they do not care about their customers.
The manager is claiming that she is not authorized to issue a refund, but we have talked to 4 people at IHG that are saying she is the only one that can. They told us they communicated this to her as well. The manager has lied through her teeth to us several times now.
After reading other people’s reviews with similar experiences, it truly feels like they are trying to get away with robbing people.

We stayed here when skiing at Pine Mountain and Norway Mountain. Excellent location that's close to everything. I'd come back again.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. All the rooms are up to date and the cleanest ive seen at the hundreds of hotels we stay in a year. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. The front desk staff and housekeepers are all very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is so calm and welcoming. They have a great continental breakfast. Id highly recommend to anyone local or traveling you will not be disappointed.

Horrible service and attitude I showed up at 3 o'clock in the morning. Needing a room only until check out time. Which would be eleven a m, which is eight hours and they wanted to charge me almost two hundred dollars for 8 hours.
I'm handicapped and explained how tired I was and that I had tried to call to make a reservation and that I had tried to do it online, but it would not let me do it. And he did not care
This was on the morning of october fourth 2025 at three a m.
Not good at all.
It's a shame. The hotel right down the road gave me something for a third of what they were going to charge me and the room was just as clean and the woman was nice and got out of bed at three o'clock in the morning to check me in.
God bless her and god bless her family

I recently stayed with my wife at the Holiday Inn Express - Iron Mountain. We were on a short vacation trip. We've visited the area many times over the past 15 or so years and stayed at various motels. Though I had stayed here before, this was my wife's first experience with the Iron Mountain Holiday Inn. She got a very positive impression of the facility. The staff was, without exception, friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was, as usual, well supplied and very clean. She loved the breakfast room with its impressive variety of fresh food options.
