If first impressions were everything, this place would be winning awards. The lobby—and especially the online photos—sell a sleek, modern experience that makes you think you’ve found a hidden gem. Unfortunately, that illusion lasts about as long as it takes to exit the lobby.
Walking into the room felt less like checking in and more like stepping into a time capsule sealed sometime around 1995… and never reopened for maintenance. Every inch of the room appeared original to construction, and not in a charming, nostalgic way—more in a “should this be condemned?” kind of way.
Let’s start with the bathroom, which can only be described as a full-contact hazard zone. Broken tiles sharp enough to double as self-defense tools, missing grout that’s clearly been on a long-term vacation, and a shower that came pre-decorated with someone else’s hair—both on the walls and thoughtfully clogging the drain for that “ankle-deep swamp” experience. Truly immersive.
The carpet had a smell that suggested it’s been quietly collecting memories (and probably spills) for decades. The beds were impressively firm—if your definition of “firm” includes “sleeping directly on poured concrete.” The windows deserve a special mention: they offered all the insulation of an open tent flap, ensuring the room stayed cold while also delivering a surround-sound experience of everything happening outside. At one point I genuinely checked to make sure the window wasn’t open. It wasn’t—it just didn’t matter.
But wait, there’s more.
The TV looked like it was sourced from a discount bin and performed accordingly, turning “watching TV” into more of a philosophical exercise in patience. The bedding had visible rips and holes, adding a nice touch of “mystery” to the sleeping arrangement.
And then—the grand finale—we overheard multiple guests in the lobby reporting bed bugs. The staff’s reaction? Completely unfazed—like this was just another routine comment they’d mentally checked out of before it was even finished.
All in all, this wasn’t just a bad stay—it was an experience. Not a good one, but definitely memorable. If I could rate it a 0 out of 5, I would, enthusiastically and without hesitation.

My husband stayed there for work March 1st-10th for work and they never changed the sheets or brought in clean towels for the first 3 days and worst of all he ended up with bed bug bites all over him. When he returned home we went straight to the doctor and it was confirmed to be bed bugs.

There for my Great Nephews birthday party. They had a suite. It was spacious and clean. The lady at the front desk was kind and helped us store our ice cream for which we were thankful for. All the kids had fun at the pool. I would go there again and I would absolutely recommend this location.
