    Interesting experience. The hotel is only a few years old and in great shape. Brianna at the desk was doing her nails at check in (one of our rooms needed a soft key) and had her hands under a personal UV Light Machine so we had to wait for the other GSR to finish making a reservation on the phone to check in. When we asked for the Hilton Honor welcome amenities a few hours later (we checked in via Digital Key for 2 rooms Diamond Member), Brianna stated the GM has a policy that they only give one water per room. No other items were offered and the brand standard was not followed. The standard clearly states the welcome amenities include two waters and a choice of snack. It’s not something hotels have the option of limiting but they do here. The $0.15 water they saved will keep us from coming back. But again, nice hotel with clean rooms.

    We booked a room online with the Hampton Inn, Howell, Mi through an online booking agency and paid extra $ for the room cancellation insurance for our room booked for 12/24/2025. My wife’s brother passed away and we now have to travel to Albuquerque, NM. We filed a claim with the booking agency on 12/19/2025 and they contacted this hotel to let them know what has happened and to cancel the room. The hotel manager is refusing to refund us our $125 with 4 days before our arrival. We will NOT be staying with Hampton Inn ever again as this shows us who these people are and what they are all about. We will be letting as many people as we can know about these people, their lack of compassion, etc. as they were given ample time and could rebook this room over and over again. It’s despicable! ☠️

    Nice welcome from staff as we arrived to check-in. The room was very clean and the mattress was so comfortable, I had a great nights sleep. Dining area was nice too; Taryn was a joy to chat with and kept the dining area very clean and a desirable place to get our morning reboot. Definitely would stay here again.
