We booked a room online with the Hampton Inn, Howell, Mi through an online booking agency and paid extra $ for the room cancellation insurance for our room booked for 12/24/2025. My wife’s brother passed away and we now have to travel to Albuquerque, NM. We filed a claim with the booking agency on 12/19/2025 and they contacted this hotel to let them know what has happened and to cancel the room. The hotel manager is refusing to refund us our $125 with 4 days before our arrival. We will NOT be staying with Hampton Inn ever again as this shows us who these people are and what they are all about. We will be letting as many people as we can know about these people, their lack of compassion, etc. as they were given ample time and could rebook this room over and over again. It’s despicable! ☠️

Nice welcome from staff as we arrived to check-in. The room was very clean and the mattress was so comfortable, I had a great nights sleep. Dining area was nice too; Taryn was a joy to chat with and kept the dining area very clean and a desirable place to get our morning reboot. Definitely would stay here again.

I travel for business all the time and I enjoy staying at the Hampton Inn most of the times. However, this has been the best Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at with the best Halloween decor I’ve ever seen! The staff was all on point! The GM, sales manager, and all the sales associates were phenomenal and super helpful! I will be coming back to Howell
