But the room is the most inconvenient I’ve ever encountered: it has a weird flooring in the room and tiles in the bathroom (makes sense), but it is very cold outside and very cold flooring inside. I would recommend to bring fuzzy socks or slippers with you. The faucet in the bathroom is too short for the sink, nightmare to wash face over it.

I am a diamond member and was trying to use my $15 credit at the hotel bar for the one night I was staying. I was rejected despite having a valid ID because the bartender was “not familiar enough with California IDs” to serve me. I was completely taken aback. He also seemed to take joy in the fact that he was not serving me, as he said I will not accept this ID loud enough for the whole bar to hear and look over at me. I am genuinely confused at this power trip and disappointed in Hilton because all my other experiences have been positive with the staff at every other Hilton I’ve stayed at. There clearly needs to be some kind of intervention with the staff here. If you are not familiar with IDs from all over the country, you should not be hired at a hotel that welcomes people from all over the country.
