Extremely disappointed with our experience with this hotel. Upon arrival, a staff member booked us into a room after reviewing my ID. When we returned to the hotel, we were shocked to discover that our personal belongings had been removed from our room without our permission, and thrown carelessly into our bags (shoes put on top of dress clothing). The hotel had checked us into someone else's room.
Several personal items were left in the room, making the situation even more frustrating. The entire handling of the situation showed a lack awareness and respect for our property.
Angela and Samantha apologized which was appreciated and replaced one of our items. They were not given much help from their manager to handle the situation. We were informed they would try to return some of our Hilton points and get us a free room for the next evening. When we contacted them the next day, we were informed this was not approved by the manager, so they would get a voucher for one night instead. This also never happened, which does not show an importance in customer service.
We hope the hotel takes steps to improve their communication, room management, and guest property handling to ensure this does not happen to anyone in the future.

The hotel was very clean and nice. The biggest issue i had was the lack of towels in the pool area, but if you just bring your own it isnt really a big deal. But who wants to do that? Also no hot tub.
Service was friendly and hard working.
The location is amazing if you partake in Marijuana smoking, as Lume, a fantastic dispensary with killer deals, isnt even 75 yards away from the south exit.
All in all a great choice 👌 especially if you smoke Marijuana. They have a designated smoking area out back. For cigarettes, surly 😉

New and in great condition. I've stayed here about 12 times in the last six months for work. Fit and finish of things like shower doors varies widely from room to room. Dishwasher in one room wasn't secured, sink in another room wouldn't plug and hold water, shower doors stuck and were hard to move in several rooms. Can get pricey during busy times. That said it's clean, nice inside, has a pool and small gym and front desk is polite and helpful. I'll continue to stay here as long as I'm working in the area. One warning...if you plan to use the electric vehicle chargers on site the rate is ridiculously expensive. The highest I've ever seen. And they'll tell you they didn't set the price when it very clearly states in the Chargepoint app the rate was set by the hotel. It's a shame they're gouging folks who are already paying a decent price for the room such an exhortant price to charge their car.

We loved our stay at Home 2 Suites Grand Rapids Northeast. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our favorite experiences were hanging out in the cute lobby with family that were also in Grand Rapids for the holiday. Also we loved breakfast. It was delicious with many options. Our breakfast attendant Gina was exceptionally kind and helpful. Our whole family loved her. The front desk was always friendly and offered support in any way we needed. I appreciated the messages sent from management to ensure we were having a nice stay. Thank, Home2Suites GR NE!
