This review is for Chloe: customer service on point. She’ll be running Hilton corporate soon as a tiny baby child 🤣 much better ops manager than Annnnnnn in Oakbrook (Chicago area) Hilton “resort”. Hehe, go Chloe!!

I had a reservation for Nov 9-14 at this Home2 suites grand rapids airport however my flight got canceled minutes to when it was to take off after 4 total hour delay.
My company decided I could joust make up with series of zoom meet hence I needed to cancel reservation. After reaching to the hotel on that same check in date I was redirected to delta as that is who made the reservation for me and it was a nightmare and down hill from there. They already charged the full amount of 729.20 even though I was not there.
In frustration, I called the hotel again and spoke to a Ralph who originally claimed they received NO correspondence from delta and after some push admitted they actually did and they only charged for one day and that delta/expidia is the one holding my funds. However if I could provide a phone log showing a call out to them on the 9th(Sunday) that they will refund the one day they held.
I need that and to my amazement they still held on to my fund.
I have been a Hilton member for years and have never experienced these level of rudeness, unprofessional and frankly speaking lack of integrity in business. The so called manager lack the integrity to call or reach out despite many attempts to connect.
I am uploading the screenshot they requested and yet held on to my money.

We stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids Airport seven times but will not stay there again. We joined Hilton Honors this year as we need a hotel room one of more times a week. Although we have silver level, at Home2 Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids Airport never offered us water when we arrived, we always had to ask for it. Never once in seven visits was anyone at the desk, we stood waiting for someone to appear. Only once did we ask to check in early (one hour) and we were charged to do it, which we did because it made more sense paying the $10 rather than losing the $175 for the room BUT there are tons of hotels in that area and we will never stay there again.
Weird quirks about the room that made it not worthwhile anyway: 1) the toilet flushers are on the wrong side of the toilet tank 2) every other room has the refrigerator door open the wrong way and interferes with the door to the hallway. 3) the rooms with king size beds have one side too close to the heater/air-conditioner. Other issues: the breakfast area is not kept up nor tables cleaned. You have to get there in the beginning to have a chance for it to be clean. Better to go to another hotel.

Very nice hotel and we got to bring our dog! I'd definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

I booked Home2Suites for my wedding block this past weekend. The stay was a rollercoaster of events and so I’ve put a 3/5 for the overall review. The rooms were immaculate. Very, very spacious, clean, and very nicely maintained. The beds were comfortable and everything was great once in the room. Reserving the original block was great. The booking manager was of great help. But everything outside of that was a nightmare. I tried to add rooms to my block once they were filled on 3 separate occasions, only to have promised the manager would call me back and I never heard back from anyone. We had a few issues with a couple of check ins on the app and upon calling the front desk, I spoke to the rudest, most difficult staff member I have ever met. She was truly so incredibly unprofessional and eventfully just hung up on me after telling me to call a number for additional help (it was not even a working, valid number) The app was easy enough to navigate, so I had my entire wedding party log in to select rooms close to one another. Upon check in, those reserved rooms were not honored and the guests were moved around. We also arrived at 3:45pm with the check in time of 3:00pm. We were told multiple times when speaking to the front deak that the check in time is only a suggestion and not a guarantee. I checked all of my emails, confirmations and app which all stated 3:00pm and nothing about it possibly being later. So multiple rooms were unavailable for hours after check in time, including the bridal suite which put us very behind time. The GM did offer to take off 50% of the cost of 1 night for 1 room, but I felt more could have been done for such a huge inconvenience for a booking that involved many rooms. Overall, the hotel was nice, clean and convenient. But customer service and staff have quite a ways to go.
