    I stayed at another TownePlace Suites near the airport, right across from a Holiday Inn Airport North. That Holiday Inn was better. This Holiday Inn (2-star) is actually better than the nearby TownePlace (3-star). The price is lower, yet the hotel is cleaner, and the room I stayed in was much larger than the one I had at TownePlace. There was no difference in the breakfast between this 2-star hotel and the nearby 3-star hotel. One minor issue was that the swimming pool's water temperature was a little cold. I saw some guests in swimsuits step in, only to get out shortly after dipping their feet in the water. Unlike at TownePlace, where an employee would always ask me to leave after the closing time, this hotel was more relaxed. I was able to swim after the closing time. Since the water was slightly cold, most of the time I was the only one in the pool, which made it feel like I had a large private pool all to myself. This hotel did not pay me to write this review. In my opinion, despite the lower price, it offers a better overall experience than TownePlace Suites.

    Let me give you the reason I rated this place so highly. Is it in the best location, probably not BUT the staff, one staff member in particular impressed the heck out of us. It was Valentine’s Day in the lobby was backed up literally 20 people deep and had been from what we had heard for about three hours and here was one individual at the desk who had been working at the entire time herself and doing so with the patients of a saint. No other staff was available and person after person she processed booking after booking with a smile on her face. Kudos to Missy. You did a great job!!!

    We booked this because they had shuttle to airport, our flight got delayed and we were able to stay longer than usual check out, 2 hours longer! Glad to be able to be in our room instead of sitting at airport.
