    We stayed here for a one night event in GR. When we first checked in the valet greeted us and made it easy. The front desk was present and really made us feel welcome. Our room was nice and provided a great background of grand rapids. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Due to our complimentary credit on the account, we went to the restuarant for breakfast and enjoyed our meal and service. Overall, we will definitely come back here when we stay in Grand rapids.

    Gave 3 stars because front desk customer service was great. The room was great. The bad was the dinning area. The food was cold, longest wait & the server never came to our table only to bring the check.

    A HEADACHE!!! Most likely would never stay here again. The day before arrival I called to see if I could change my room from a one bed to a two bed. She confirmed the changes were made. Once I arrived (After driving an hour out and before my dinner reservations which was very hard to get due to it being Valentines day) . The front desk says the changes couldn't be made because I booked through third party and there wasn't anything they could do. That was until I brought to their attention that a phone call should have been made on their end. Not only did the hotel confirm a day before my arrival that the changes were made, I drove an hour to stay and because I spent so long at the front desk going back and forth I had to go through so much to push back my dinner reservation. I then had to PAY A SECOND TIME for the room I was already suppose to have. They stated I would receive a refund on the other room by the end of my stay. Not only did I not receive the refund. I had to call 8+ times and received multiple different dates on when the refund was process. I did eventually receive the refund days later but it was a long frustrating experience. With that being said I would not stay here again although the hotel it self was nice and clean, great location, I am VERY disappointed with my experience.

    Room was great! Everything was modern, clean, and comfortable. Staff was great! Five stars to the front desk, housekeeping, and the valets. Location was great! Plenty to do and even more restaurants within walking distance. Probably stay away from the park just to the south.

    We chose the Canopy by Hilton for a weekend stay in Grand Rapids. The location is great. The service, the valet parking covered our expectations. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels were clean and soft. The only thing that I had a problem with was the size of the shower, kind of on the small side. Maybe because it was ADA compliant and it had the folding seat and all of the grab bars, but it was tight for me. I am not a small guy, 6'2"/230lb , but it felt tight.
