  If I could put 0 stars I would. This place is the most unprofessional establishment I’ve ever experienced. I booked a hotel room here weeks ahead of time, I traveled about 5 hours to stay here and an hour before check in they canceled my reservation without speaking with me. Would do absolutely nothing to help accommodate me and the entire staff was so rude about it. When I asked to speak with a manager they said I could call them if I wanted to and they wouldn’t call them because they were gone until Monday (this was all on Saturday) When I tried to call it was the same phone number for the front desk at the hotel, not a manager. No other place was able to accommodate me and I had to drive 4.5 hours back home. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

  ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! the service is absolutely awful, drove over 4.5 hours away and they called me an hour before check in telling me that they are going to cancel my reservation because they over booked and they wouldnt do anything about it! the short hair older blonde woman at the counter was awful and wouldnt help us and when we told her we have no where to sleep tonight she told us oh well not my problem. NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!

  We really wanted to stay here with our group, tried for 3 weeks to book a room block, left many messages (4+) with the GM and through the corporate site. Never received one call back and unfortunately had to look elsewhere.

  UPDATE: I called the hotel as the owner requested. I was offered Hilton points for a free stay at another location, but I still haven’t received the points that were promised. I even followed up again two days ago with no answer or resolution. Unfortunately, this shows that management is just as unresponsive as the staff. 👎 At first, finding one hair on my sheets didn’t seem like a big deal—but when I kept seeing them all over the room and even in my towels, it became disgusting. I reported it to the front desk three different times and was only told, “We’ll let housekeeping know.” Nothing changed. I wasn’t asking for a free room, but some kind of response or acknowledgment from a manager would’ve gone a long way. To top it off, there were red wine stains on the bathroom baseboard. Clearly, cleanliness and customer care aren’t priorities here.

  My recent stay at the Home2 Suites in Frankenmuth was marred by a malfunctioning fire alarm in my room. The strobe light on the alarm flashed periodically throughout the night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. This was not the dim green indicator light on a typical smoke detector—it was a bright, flashing light strong enough to be seen through my eyelids. When I mentioned the issue at checkout, the desk clerk informed me that management was already aware of the defective alarm and was waiting for it to be repaired. I am very disappointed that the room was rented despite this known problem. Guests should be able to expect a safe and restful night’s stay, and this experience fell short of that standard.
