I wanted to swim and to get warm... my house is a older Farmhouse so it's very drafty. I made a quick decision on December 30th to go there for New Year's Eve night which I thought I was speaking to the hotel themselves but it ended up being priceline, the guy sort of pressured me saying there was only three rooms left, he could give me the best price so I pulled the trigger and booked the room. Once I was there I saw only a handful of cars in the parking lot so it was not the case that they were nearly fully booked. The weather, it was horrible driving but I went anyway. They were so sweet to me. Manager Leah was just leaving for the shift and when I found out I paid 1/3 over what I could have if I just called the hotel: (she was kind enough to upgrade me to a whirlpool suite at no extra charge! I was able to get in the pool, very quiet. Then went back to my room and had a whirlpool to hop into and it was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful ! just what I needed : ) all the staff were terrific including Josh who was working the desk until 11 p.m. I will definitely go back. Thank you so much.

I found this gem of a location by chance earlier this year and keep on coming back when I am in Lansing for business. Staff here is incredible! Breakfast is staffed by a lovely woman that doesn't let a table go unwiped for more than 30 seconds after a guest leaves. Pleasant conversation one morning, she's great. And the desk staff is great, too. The guy that usually checks us in and takes care of our odd requests, and the gal with purple hair is eager to help with whatever random thing is going on in the lobby or simply offer a jovial "good morning, have a great day". The dude with headphones is nice. He helped me by the elevator last week, and our interaction is what actually inspired me to write this review. There's food right down the street, and lots of things within 15 minutes. Firehouse subs can deliver here in like, 20 minutes.

Room was great, mini suite, breakfast was there. Sausages not tasty could be they got got cold. Appreciate the service in the room. I stayed two days and was advised the building was beginning renovation. Gym and pool are nice, no hot tubs. Need a car to get to restaurants 25 minutes away. Community Involvement for the kids.

This is a hotel for skyscraper lovers. The lobby doesn’t have much facilities.
