Absolutely phenomenal spot! Everything is spotless, stylish, and surprisingly upscale. You get incredible value for what you pay, and the unique layout makes the whole place feel special. The color scheme and overall design are so impressive they’ll genuinely take your breath away..

I’m staying in one of the more expensive rooms in this hotel, and the service has been shockingly bad. The front desk staff especially the woman I spoke to was incredibly rude. When I tried to explain an issue she cut me off showed zero patience, and made it clear she had no interest in helping. Attitude was very dismissive and unprofessional
For a hotel charging this kind of price basic respect and proper customer service should be the minimum expectation. Instead, I was treated as if I was an inconvenience. It’s completely unacceptable.
I strongly suggest management take a serious look at their staff training because right now, the service here is nowhere near the level that matches the cost of the rooms

A Truly Wonderful Stay – Thanks to Sharon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
From the moment we arrived, our experience at the hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The atmosphere was welcoming, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was clearly designed with guests’ comfort in mind.
What truly made our stay memorable, however, was Sharon. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care transformed a simple trip into something special. She greeted us with a smile every morning, offered great local recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. When we mentioned it was a special occasion, she went above and beyond to make it even more memorable—something we’ll never forget.
The service, the amenities, and the attention to detail were all outstanding, but it was Sharon’s kindness and dedication that truly set this hotel apart. We left feeling refreshed, appreciated, and eager to return.
**Highly recommend this hotel—especially if you’re lucky enough to have Sharon taking care of you!**

I had an amazing experience at The Godfrey, thanks to Sharon (the Director). She went above and beyond to make my stay memorable! From the moment I arrived, she greeted me so warmly and even acknowledged my elite status, which I really appreciated. Her professionalism and kindness truly stood out! This was the best hospitality I’ve ever received at any hotel. Sharon made sure everything about my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She’s a true gem and a great reflection of what excellent service should look like!

This is a sweet spot. Everything we wanted to check out before the Lions’ game we attended was within walking distance. The area is super safe. There are restaurants and activities close by…just across the street is a axe throwing, beer garden type spot. The gelato around the corner was delicious. The actual hotel was typical of a nice hotel. The check-in was easy and the staff were really friendly (except for one staff who seemed robot like with no emote to her welcome or check in face, she wasn’t rude but she was just straight face and quick). The room is nice, the tv is big. The bathroom has a shower only. The water on morning one was not hot. It was barely warm around 8:30am. The second morning it was perfect. The shower door in room 415 doesn’t stay completely closed but it works okay. We only used room service once. I ordered eggs Benedict with no ham. One of the eggs was not just poached lightly it was raw in the middle. Not just runny yolk but raw egg whites too. The other egg had no yolk, the hollandaise sauce was flavourless. My hash browns were over cooked and inedible. They were so crunchy it was really hard to eat. I was quite disappointed. My son’s waffles were okay, but the whip cream was tasteless as well and the waffle was over cooked. There are lots of restaurants in the city and I regret spending over $50 on two meals on room service when I could of had a lot better out and about. That being said, the hotel was clean and overall worth what I paid (less the room service).
