At check-in (3:30pm), we were told it wasn't available and pressured to pay an extra $20-30/night for a 'larger room' or wait several hours (they offered a snack voucher as compensation for waiting). Feeling rushed after traveling, we paid for the upgrade. The room we received appeared to be a standard king suite - essentially what we originally booked, not a meaningful upgrade. We paid extra to resolve their overbooking rather than receiving what we reserved. Disappointing experience from a Hilton property

I asked for snacks for my children later in the evening and they denied service. We were more than happy to pay the required costs. As a gold member and an associate diamond member we will no longer do business with Hilton. We should have gone to elsewhere! 😕
