Very nice hotel. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly.
The lobby is also accommodating with sofas, chairs, books and games.
We booked a King suite, it had two sleeper sofas, a desk, a King Bed, refrigerator and microwave.
The bed was comfortable, sheets and bedspread were clean and fresh. There were four pillows that ranged from firm to soft.
The bathroom was extremely clean, towels were soft. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were full.
The hotel has a pool and fitness center. ( We did not use either)
There are restaurants, gas stations and stores near the hotel. It is in a great location.

First time stay at “this particular hotel”, although I’ve stayed at many, many other Hilton Honors hotel!
I am not a weekend vacationer but a long-time loyal member with many different experiences of staying at different Hilton hotels.
I am a quality customer and expected better customer service and care and freely offered compensation based on my loyalty, amount of time I’ve stayed and visited Hilton hotels and the amount of funds I’ve spent.
First terrible experience I’ve had without any acknowledgment of concern,care or customer compensation for my son’s pain & suffering.
My son gashed the heel of his foot on a prong sticking out from the bed very badly and nothing was done to compensate us for his pain & suffering. He couldn't walk on it for two whole days.
I'm a loyal Diamond member and was shocked and dismayed at the way the lead staffer did not give much concern or care to my injured son's foot.
Maintenance came to fix both beds but his foot already had been bleeding and he was in much discomfort. We stayed there from November 21-December 5,2025 spent more than $2,000.00, it happened the week of the 5th. We left on the 5th. I was expecting full financial compensation of all days stayed plus all points used and more for the owners neglect of their hotel furniture which led to this disaster. It’s not okay at all ever to purchase a franchise hotel and not remodel, update and renovate but still charge the same premium prices of other renovated, updated, remodeled Hilton Hotels!
The older gentlemen on staff in charge and working at the from desk for his morning shift (he was not the manager but an employee) ( can’t remember his name, he’s friendly, but not customer service aware) offered nothing and just didn't care.
He felt because they fixed the mattress frame that was sufficient but it wasn't. The rooms need a “severe remodeling by the owners”.
The staff is very friendly and nice but the hotel needs work from mattress frames,to change hallway and room carpets, to replace with new, non-mildewy smell of all furniture in the rooms and lobby ( has a smell and is very 1970 retro), does not compare to the other Hilton hotels.
I didn’t realize Hampton Inn Commerce,MI was not updated or renovated, I thought all Hilton hotel franchises had to stay in compliance with the Hilton Brand? I guess not!
Hilton Brand hotels have been my top choice for hotels in the Michigan area and across the U.S. and I haven't been disappointed until my stay at Hampton Inn-Commerce,MI.
The pain, suffering from the injury because the owners will not update, and renovate, to provide better quality hotel rooms for others is unacceptable. This hotel cannot continue to charge premium prices like other Hilton hotels but provide “ unsafe furniture and rooms”.

“ It is vitally essential to never lie on a customer! I never said anything was fine.” My son was in excruciating pain and I showed your employee the video I took of my son’s foot , you said on the phone that “ your employee said I never showed him a video” and no response except I’ll send maintenance! When I checked out of Hampton Inn commerce/novi,Michigan, the employee asked how was my stay and I said up until my son’s foot was injured. He then responded by saying, “ I sent maintenance to fix the bed” and I said “ that was after the fact his foot was still injured and he said nothing”!!
Your internal system is what you are referring to regarding an incident report not an incident report regarding you as the manager and employee talking to me about the matter. Furthermore, why didn’t you reach out to me immediately! It was not until I posted my reviews.
You said you sold speak with regionals on our last call but I have not heard back from and this situation is NOT RESOLVED! I contacted headquarters and will contact them again!
