- DDDanielDec 30, 20251.0I am formally lodging a complaint regarding the IHG property in Coldwater, Michigan, where I have been a long-term guest for over four months, spending in excess of $6,000 per month. An employee named Stephanie has created a hostile and unacceptable environment through repeated harassment, including unsolicited calls to my room as early as 6 a.m., aggressive and rude behavior, yelling at guests, and denying basic amenities that other staff and management confirmed are permitted. This behavior has been reported by multiple guests, including corporate accounts and Diamond members, yet no corrective action has been taken. The frequency and consistency of these complaints strongly indicate a failure in management. The property manager, Tiffany, has been informed of these issues on several occasions and has failed to respond or resolve them. I specifically requested a call from her and received no response. As a result of this ongoing harassment, I was unable to sleep, which is unacceptable for any hotel, especially one operating under the IHG brand. IHG’s reputation is built on hospitality, professionalism, and guest respect. This property currently reflects none of those values. If this situation is not addressed promptly, I will be forced to move my business elsewhere and ensure this experience is properly documented at the corporate level.

I have stayed at this hotel for months, and until recently everything had been great. Unfortunately, we will no longer return. The same front desk employee, Stephanie, has bothered us on more than four separate occasions during late check-ins. Each interaction was unprofessional, hostile, and frankly made her come across as a miserable troll to deal with after a long day of travel. Management is already aware of the issue. The General Manager has been informed, and other staff members have openly acknowledged ongoing problems with this employee, including repeated complaints and lost corporate business. I was told she has already driven away other corporate accounts despite only working a few days a week. It’s disappointing that a hotel which otherwise performs well continues to support behavior that costs them loyal, high-volume guests. As a result, I’ve moved my business elsewhere.
- CLColben LogueDec 21, 20251.0Here for a week and the last couple days of my stay I left it where I wanted my room clean. Helping out I stripped the bed and put all my dirties in a pile by the door. They put the same sheet on my bed as the one I took off and the top cover and under sheet besides giving me all fresh bedding. Don’t recommend if you’re staying for a while.
