The pool was an okay size wish it was bigger. There was our group of 10 and it was okay until another group of 6 ish got in then it was tight.. Plus the room the pool was in was small so it echoed bad, so it was very loud in there.
The rooms now were another story beautiful rooms and tons of space and storage. Our room had an apartment size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, bowls and silverware and more. Beds weren't the most comfortable my husband and son said the pull out couch bed was more comfortable. So did the person that slept on their pull out bed in the other family we were with. Over all though it was a nice room.
Breakfast was good everyone seemed to really like it! They had dairy free milk also.
They had a nice work out room to. Overall it is saved on our Google maps for if we need a place to stay in that area again.

The location is nice in retrospect to being close to downtown Grand Rapids, and there are plenty of stores around the hotel area. But every time we come here there is never anyone at the front desk. We end up waiting and waiting for someone to eventually show up to check us in, it’s quite irritating. Over the years the rooms are showing some wear, things aren’t as clean as they used to be. The bed is comfortable but they give you the flattest pillows I have ever used in my life. It’s fine for what it is, but the price is not justifying it for me anymore.

We have enjoyed this place a couple times as it is so family friendly. The laundry uses only coins and one must have cash to get coins. breakfast so-so.

I got married yesterday, and the night before I got married, I stayed here. There were people in the room next to me that were being very loud and rambunctious- playing loud music and drinking, having a party. I had texted my matron of honor (staying there too, on another floor) because I was worried I would not get any sleep as it was nearing midnight. She went to the front desk to let them know. Brittney, the night front desk employee, not only came upstairs to tell them to quiet down, but then knocked on my door, congratulated me on getting married, and moved me to whole different floor (no charge) because she "didn't want a bride to not be able to rest before her wedding". 🥹😭❤️ I was able to get the rest I needed, as the new room was silent, clean, and comfortable. Words cannot express just how grateful I am and happy over the service I received.
