I stayed at more than ten hotels during my trip, and this was the only one where I extended my stay by an extra week. The hotel is clean, with quiet surroundings, fresh air, and very little traffic at night. At times, it felt as though the world had faded away—I was the only one in my room, looking out at a snow-covered white landscape.
Lori, the assistant manager, was very helpful and responded to my lost-and-found request the next day after I emailed her.
Breakfast included some nice and unique options, such as egg pancakes (there were no scrambled eggs), Silk soy milk, and bottled milk, including chocolate milk, etc.
There were a few inconveniences. The key card cannot open the side entrance doors or the pool area. (update: It appears they do not plan to fix the issue. I stayed there for two weeks and did not see anyone attempting to repair it, so the owner’s response is inaccurate. I added the photo.), which made entry inconvenient during the cold winter weather. Parking near a side entrance meant a long walk to the front door.
The pool water was about 25°C, which felt cold, and I had to walk back and forth for 10–15 minutes to adjust. They have a thermometer floating in a small container by the pool. I checked the temperature on two different nights, and it consistently read 25°C—not 84°F (29°C). I swam at different times in the evening, and it always felt cold.
In April 2025, another guest Amers also wrote "the pool water was pretty darn cold."
I also suggest adding a clock in the pool area.
The water also tasted salty, which is unusual compared with other pools. During my last few days, the water became very murky, although I did not experience any skin issues. This suggested that the pool’s filtration system was not working effectively.

update: Additionally, this hotel does not provide a body lotion dispenser in the bathroom. However, it is the only hotel where guests can leave tips through an online platform. I do not carry much cash with me, so this option is very convenient.
As a suggestion, instead of giving guests complimentary bottled water imported from California—a state that relies heavily on water from the Colorado River—the hotel could consider installing a water purification system in common areas so guests can refill their own bottles. This would be a more environmentally friendly option.
