    REVIEW ON THEFT BY STAFF: Hotel was great. As other reviewers have mentioned. Clean, quiet, good breakfast. Great location next to lots of shopping. Sister and I stayed 2 nights 10/24 (arrived close to 10pm)-10/25. Beats headphones never left the room as we had events to go to throughout the day Saturday. I used them only at night. At checkout on Sunday (prior to 10am), 10/26, entirely my fault, I did not do a very good double check of the room before leaving. In a rush, made this mistake. I take responsibility for that. However, as I arrived to the airport I realized I had left my headphones in the room. I checked through my entire luggage and carry-on. Sister checked her items as well, nothing. The only possible place they could be was in the room. The ONLY option. Again, they never left the room. There would be nowhere else they could be. I called the hotel immediately to make them aware that I left my headphones behind. The front desk representative was very sweet and even left the front to go check the room personally. She mentioned the room had already been cleaned and that she had also checked the housekeeping carts as well as lost and found to no avail. Note, to my knowledge, she did not speak to any housekeeping staff at least while I was on the phone with her. I called again 10/27 and spoke with a different front desk representative, again very friendly. She also checked lost and found and informed me she would get in touch with the house keeping staff.. Followed back up with her and she said no one had come across my headphones. 10/27 in the PM I was finally able to get unpacked at home and wanted to double check everything to make sure I did not put them somewhere in my luggage that was out of sight. No headphones. Again, the only place they were was in that room. That said, by process of elimination, someone on staff isn't being honest... I can buy another set of headphones, but the staff's integrity, ethics and honesty to do the right thing can't be bought... All that to say, don't leave anything you care about behind even if just going out for the day...double check your room.

    There are no words to describe our experience. It was as great as it can be at a hotel! Front desk staff are all welcoming, the breakfast attendant was beyond helpful with food allergies, the housekeeping/janitorial staff were friendly, and the entire hotel was very clean upon entrance. They even gave complimentary water! We stayed in a suite and it was beautiful. I was afraid it would be outdated as I heard this was an older hotel, but it truly was great. The beds were comfortable, the hall ways were quiet, and the only real complaint we had was not enough towels. The pool was clean and the water was warm, despite me reading beforehand on an old review that it was cold. When leaving our multiple day road trip experience full of trampoline parks and all of the kid attractions, all of our kids screamed out that the hotel was their favorite part. Go figure haha! We will be back!

    Nice hotel. Clean bathroom. Breakfast was actually pretty good. And I had a chance yo pick up a USA Today news paper. WOW...a news paper to read. Im old school, like to eat breakfast and read the new paper.

    King room smelled of dog and cigarettes. On the 3rd floor wreaked of weed. Won't stay there again.

    The management and staff go above and beyond to take care of the guest. The room is overwhelmingly awesome and I will stay here every time I come to Michigan.
