I wanted to give the Daxton 5 stars, but the noise is a bit much. The walls are super thin! States here for a work trip nov 15-17 2025 and my neighbor next door I heard EVERY conversation she had it was loud! My co workers heard the alarm of the person next to him so much so he thought it was his alarm. My other co worker had a person next to him that he heard then having sex. The aesthetic of the hotel is beautiful, they have a pantry on each floor for snacks and beverages, the hotel lobby and rooms are very nice, and it is centrally located to many shops and restaurants, but the noise is a bit much.

Very nice, upscale rooms. Awesome amenities (free snacks, great coffee and bar downstairs). Chris at the front desk was incredibly helpful, really looking forward to staying here again!

I was very disappointed in the professionalism of the management team when I had called in with a complaint. I spoke with Jennifer and for an upscale business they were not accommodating and I was not satisfied with her response. A couple of weeks ago we had my son’s wedding there. We had a few bumps with accommodating a few requests we had but the biggest issue is with one of the meals. We requested only one vegan meal. I was hoping it would have been at least salmon for the price we paid but that wasn’t the issue either. My guest had a plate of noodles with some mushrooms and it was very salty. So my guest went home unsatisfied and hungry which was embarrassing for me. I didn’t find out until the next day and that’s when I called in with the complaint. I was told I would get a call the next day. I didn’t get a call back so I waited a few more days and I called back and I left another message. A few days later still no response so I called a 3rd time. I was told they did receive my message but for some reason they didn’t get back with me and now it’s over a week. I spoke with Jennifer and she said she would speak with her management team and get back with me the next day. I was hoping that they would send a gift card for a meal or at least a drink for my guest thinking that’s the least they could do after all the money we spent on that venue. The only thing I got was a phone call from Jennifer saying that she could call my guest and apologize. No thank you…… I already did that myself. Beautiful venue but customer service is a zero. Even McDonald’s would have responded in a timely manner manner with a meal replacement.

Went to Dax Restaurant today for lunch. Two of us ordered the Maurice Salad and in no way did it resemble one. No ham in it which your menu said there was and very little turkey and cheese. Several green olives thrown on top with no pimento, a hard boiled egg which was not cooked thoroughly and many chopped up dill pickles and a dressing that lacked. I ate some of mine but the other person switched for a Greek Salad which was also basically non-descript. My grandson ordered the fried chicken sandwich which was overcooked. Salt Shaker was empty and the pepper mill did not work. No one in the restaurant but two other tables and we waited at least 1/2 hour for our food. I normally would give a restaurant a second chance but not in this case.
