- ILInsu LeeDec 23, 20251.0After having dinner and returning late, while I was organizing my things, I found a bed bug on the pillow of my bed. I quickly packed up and reported it to the hotel staff at the lobby. They told me that there were no rooms available, but they could only check if there were any nearby hotels with rooms, without covering the cost. Around 1 AM, I had no choice but to leave the hotel. I reported the incident to the IHG customer service, and they said I would receive an official response from the hotel within 48 hours, but I haven't heard anything back yet. Do not stay here. It will be the worst experience you've ever had in your life.

Kid was also in the elevator, as someone who gets very sick I called the front desk informing them that the kid was in the elevator and they might want to clean it, so other guests don’t get sick. They instead said that the kid probably inhaled too much water. Please take better precautions no one wants a kid who threw up touching surfaces you touch. There was also a dog in the pool area and a lady with just a shirt and shorts on in the pool and nothing else. I’m not impressed and staff was not watching the pool area and correcting these behaviors.

Breakfest every morning was so good! Orange juice, chocolate milk, so many varieties!! Book your next stay here!

Nicole and Rob were so welcoming and took such pride in their jobs... they love this hotel and their positivity is infectious! Definitely recommend this hotel if you are passing through Birch Run!
