The coffee is bitter, the biscuit and gravy tastes bland, there is only fat free milk for the cereal, and trying to get the pancake machine going took them 20 minutes. When it was refilled, the worker made a plate and claimed it for herself. She didn't even clean the machine after filling it. Front desk the prior evening at check in was great. Since the toilet in the checked room wasn't flushing, we were offered a different room.

- EBErin BurnsOct 19, 20252.0This place is in horrible need of repairs. I can't see how they charge what they do and people actually pay it... super disappointing and I can't believe IHG allows this. There are outlets that don't work and others with burn marks and mold and water damage throughout the hotel. Our room alone had mold on the grout, peeling paint all over the bathroom, and stains and rips all over the carpet. Part of the wall was ripped out under the table between the beds and left exposed wires and dust. TV had a permanent blue tint to the screen that we couldn't get rid of. Outlets by the bed didn't even work, and the topper was when we discovered that the toilet was NOT EVEN BOLTED TO THE FLOOR!! This place is a death trap. The breakfast is decent though, and the staff is EXCELLENT. It's not their fault that the place isn't taken care of, but I would never stay here again. It's literally dangerous. Stay at your peril!

Although the service seems awesome, the place itself is rather run down. Carpets are stained and ripped in the room as well in the hallways. The bathroom caulk is gross and the television picture is really blue.

The event is in a vacation area called Frankenmuth, MI. I was looking for a place to rest and be alone, but when I check in, a young lady name Amber greeted me as if I were a member of her family. I do not know if it is normal, but she was more invested my comfort and reservation more than I was for myself. As an adjunct professor I teach if you ask the wrong question you will always get the wrong answer. She asked all the right questions and made it clear by her kindness that her role was to serve this tired old man. She would be one of the big reasons if I were asked to lecture in the future, I wlll call this hotel, asked for Amber and return to this very location. There should be a ten star option on this evaluation becauase five star does not seem to get it. Thanks, Amber, Dr. Abiade, aka Doc
