  Just checked in. It’s very late and all I wanted was a clean room. Well, it’s not clean and it’s very run down. Outlets don’t work, furnishings are beat up and the ‘70s wallpaper makes the place seem dark and dank. The carpet is super gross. Holiday Inn should be embarrassed by this joint.

  We called up on the phone about the pool they said they had one so we reserved , what they didn’t tell me is it’s under renovation only reason we went there was a pool, so we left found a different hotel with a pool tried getting our money back they said it’s posted on there website doesn’t say nothing on there besides that they have a pool, but they wont be able to give our money back what a great place, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and never will be staying there or at any holiday in

  No pool (when we booked months before there was no indication of this), breakfast was missing most of the items (no eggs or breakfast meat), keys stopped working for no reason. We’ve stayed at many, many Holiday Inns - this one was an overall poor experience.

  Very disappointing experience with Holiday Inn. I booked through their web site and arrived to learn the pool was closed for renovations—something not disclosed at booking. While I understand cancellation policies, the lack of transparency wasn’t my fault. Even after canceling, Holiday Inn refused to step up and offer a refund or resolution. Poor customer service and accountability. I DIDN'T RECEIVE THE A EMAIL NOTIFICATION ABOUT THE POOL-CLOSURE UNTIL 5 MINUTES AFTER FINDING OUT ABOUT IT IN PERSON UPON CANCELING. NOT DURING MY CANCELATION PERIOD, HOW CONVENIENT. Also the lady at check-in informed us it was listed on the website and in the video attached clearly shows it is not.

  If I could leave without giving a star rating I would. I made a reservation for the weekend of February 14th through the 16th, with the hopes of attending my family's Celebration of Life. Upon being informed that weather may not be cooperating for our trip (my brother is handicap) I decided to play it safe and cancel our trip. I called and spoke personally to the front desk and was informed that I had until 3pm on the 13th to cancel, no fees added or charged to my account. So I spoke with my family, called back later and proceeded to cancel. Was informed at that time that I WOULD be charged, but if I reached out to IHG who I made my reservation with, and they spoke to the hotel they would waive my fees. I dod just that...TWICE. IHG was very helpful, polite and very considerate over the phone, was told I would receive a personal phone call within 24-48 hours. Never received one, instead the general Mgr Jennifer sent emails. Stating she would uphold the fees, regardless, even after what her STAFF informed me.. I was a day late.
