  Room is right next to the elevator and I can hear the cables squeaking and elevator moving constantly against the wall near the bed. Awake all night

  Great location right off of the highway. Rooms were clean and comfortable and fully equipped. Staff was friendly.

  We stayed here for my son’s hockey tournament. While the room itself was clean and comfortable, the service and lack of compassion were extremely disappointing. I booked this hotel specifically for a connecting room for our family of five (including 2 year old twins). I called ahead and was reassured multiple times that a connecting room would be available and was even guided on how to book correctly through Expedia. At check-in, we were told one of the rooms was still occupied and that no connecting rooms were available. only to later be offered one after pushing back, which made the situation frustrating and confusing. We reserved two nights but had to leave after the first due to a medical emergency involving our 5 year old (epilepsy). On medical advice, we were guided to get him to DeVos Children’s Hospital. We returned only to grab our belongings and checked out early, requesting a refund for the unused second night. Despite explaining the situation and offering to give medical documentation, the hotel repeatedly denied the refund and directed us back and forth with Expedia who confirmed the hotel was responsible for approving a refund, not Expedia. Clean rooms do not make up for poor communication and a complete lack of empathy. This was a very disappointing hospitality experience.

  As I lay here awake on the second night of my stay at 2:47am … I wish I had booked anywhere else. These have to be the hardest beds in existence . You can hear thru the walls so it stays loud. A former guest thought it would be funny to leave behind one of those cricket chirpers so I have to listen to that every 30 min to hour . Guest services was truly unhelpful and lacked any kind of compassion and understanding, refused to help with finding out where it was hidden claiming they don’t feel comfortable coming in our room… but they had no problem coming in to clean the room just an hour before I called down. The solution ? Why don’t you pack all of your stuff up to switch rooms.. yeah, bc that sounds like so much fun. Breakfast is abysmal. Nothing tasted like actual food, just plastic processed garbage . I def would Not stay here again. Update; We found the cricket chirping device under our door. I have attached a picture.

  My partner and I stayed here this past weekend. We enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfy, and we enjoyed having breakfast in the hotel and not having to find somewhere else to eat. I also loved how close it was to i75 to make it easier to venture to places like Frankenmuth and Saginaw The only two things I was not fond of was the our room was not cleaned the day we had our cards not inserted in the door ( which may have been our fault so we are not upset at all), and the face that the pool was freezing cold. All in all we enjoyed our stay and the next time we are in the bay city/ east side of Michigan, we will definitely be staying here.
