    We had a HORRIBLE experience at this hotel. We’ve stayed multiple times and usually love it however this time we got stuck in the elevator with multiple children for 30 minutes with no help from hotel staff after calling. We were under the weight & person limit and had to contact 911 to get the fire department to come claw the doors open to get us out. The front desk worker let us know AFTER we were rescued that she saw us go in and thought the elevator might not hold. If staff is aware the limit is different than the sign posted on the wall, CHANGE the signs. Not only did not staff check on us after we were rescued, we were offered no medical attention or even asked if we were okay after we told them we were jolted by the elevator as well as we had multiple kids and pregnant person on the elevator. After speaking to management, and informing them that we were hung up on by hotel staff (who was clearly undertrained in an emergency situation) WHILE stuck on the elevator asking for help, we were hardly offered a discount on our rooms. We had crying, panicked young children including one infant on this elevator and cannot believe the way the staff at this hotel handled this. We were told it was our fault for too many people on the elevator (we had 6 people under the posted limit and were FAR under the weight limit). If we could have left that night and made it home before 3 am we would have but unfortunately we were too far from home. This hotel needs a SERIOUS update in safety training and to update their elevator signage before this happens to another family. While checking out we were also told by staff that this situation has happened to staff members before so clearly nothing has been done to fix this elevator and they still let people ride it. A very unfortunate situation that could have been avoided with proper training and updated elevator signage.

    The hotel itself was fine. I checked in last minute due to a snowstorm and wanted to be safe. The next morning I asked for a late checkout so I could stay until the winter warning was lifted and they said no. I said, I'd really appreciate it and feel safer and they said no again. I understand you can't always get late checkout but on this occasion it felt very dismissive. Very "we got your money, please get out" would not go back in basis of customer service

    There was nothing negative to say. Room spotless, quiet and spacious and nicely furnished with a very comfortable king bed. Suggestion for management: when people check in, please encourage them to close their door quietly. Sound reverberates through the halls and rooms.

    It was an old holiday Inn. The beds were standard. Breakfast nothing special as expected. Beds seemed to be clean but there were hair in the bathtub. Low shower pressure, remote didn't work and shutters were difficult to put down. Room 318
