  Super friendly staff, very accommodating. Dog-friendly! Great pool and hot tub. Perfect spot for us just up the road from family. Stayed last year, booked again this year -- had to make a last minute adjustment to our reservation and it was taken care of in 30 seconds. Thanks!

  This was my kids first Hotel with a pool experience besides Great Wolf lodge. I honestly don't remember them being as excited at the wolf as they were for a night at the merry manor. They asked if we could" stay here forever" lol. I felt like I was reliving the memory I had as a kid thinking a Hotel with a pool may be the best thing life had to offer. My dog was welcomed without any resistance and the breakfast was top notch as an included benefit. Fresh towels every time we hit the pool. And with the mall close by with the ropes course a day away from home felt like a weekend vacation. The cost was low and made me feel like a hero dad providing lifelong memories.

  Hotel staff was amazing more than accommodating the room however being located on the very bottom floor main level, the parking was right up against our bedroom window and whoever decided to park near our window decided to enter an exit their vehicle 35 times for about an hour while we were trying to unwind and watch some television, so it was very unpleasantHowever, room accommodations were decent at basic refrigerator microwave one cup coffee maker. The coffee was not very good in the room the breakfast was amazing the ability to use an actual coffee machine in the lounge was a much better choice than room coffee. My wife ended up, sleeping in the lounge chair beside the bed due to the comfort of the chair over the bed, but it’s obviously preference. The bed was just very stiff. Bathroom layout was a little cramped. The design was not very well thought out the rooms could use a little bit of an upgrade as well. The walls in our room was cracked like something that hit the opposite side of the wall because the base molding was split and knocked off the wall cracked, and the caulking around the bathroom sink was missing so the back molding was pulling away from the sink and the countertop. Also, the ceiling fan was dangling from the drop down ceiling ceiling tile, and was not suspended very tightly. Felt like it was gonna let go and hit somebody in the head at any given moment could use a little bit of love would definitely be a five out of five for me if a few small minor changes were made. Like I said, as for the staff was great breakfast that was included was great the ability to get to different restaurants very close by was really good scenery however was a little desolate kind of a little iffy. I guess for the area, but with all that being said for the price that we were charged at the time of the reservation The rating that I’m giving this is also reflective of that I think we overpaid a little bit for the options that we had but if you look, you probably could get the price a lot better on other websites

  Slept great, ate waffles, and only got lost twice trying to find the lobby. 10/10 would wander again.

  My wife and I were visiting Portland for the first time from South Carolina, and I’m so happy we stayed with BW Merry Manor Inn. The staff were wonderful and made us feel so welcomed. The breakfast crew were especially kind, and we ended up looking forward to our time at breakfast each morning. Overall, a fantastic value for what you receive. We would happily stay here again if we make it back to Portland.
