We arrived at 11:30pm from the airport and found a room with the thermostat running and set to 54 degrees. When alerting the night manager to this, he gave us two extra blankets but could not provide space heaters. The heater in the room was running so poorly that it took eight hours for the temperature to rise to the mid sixties. Management stated that it’s not unusual for this corner room to be extra cold in the winter. Not a valid excuse to rent out a room that gets your customers close to frostbite!!!

We stayed three nights and requested housekeeping for the second day- no one came ever. Had to get our own fresh towels and had overflowing trash in our room. The breakfast was not great and had no water or juice available at the machine(out of order). The tv channels did not offer much at all for children. There was one washer and one dryer for the whole hotel☹️ our first trip to Maine so a little disappointed.

This particular one was excellent in every regard except that they wouldn't let us check in early. When we come to Maine we visit family all over the state and typically change hotels every night. Because of our travel into biddeford we were in town a little earlier than usual. The place was empty when we got there around 1pm and they would not allow us to check in. We had to keep our luggage with us while we shopped and visited with family. Almost always able to check in early upon arrival. Late October in maine. Not tourist season. Clearly had empty rooms, but inconvenienced for no reason.
