Unfortunately, having to deal with a heat system that wasn't working in the room ruined this night. We couldn't even get the fan to operate. The staff had NO clue.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Bar Harbor! My room had a beautiful view of the vibrant fall colors — absolutely stunning. The location was perfect for exploring both downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park; everything was just a short drive away. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety that included delicious pastries from a local bakery — such a thoughtful touch that made mornings feel extra special. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bar Harbor — I’ll definitely stay here again!

I stay at this Hampton Inn every autumn. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great and every room has a view. The location is perfect. It sits on a hill (hence the views) so it's quiet, but it's minutes from the Park Loop Road and downtown Bar Harbor. If you care to walk, it's 20 minutes to town. I'll be back next year.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel! When you first walk in, it smells like blueberries. They have a complimentary drink bar with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fresh pastries. There's a little market and microwaves you can use as well. The rooms were nice, very clean, and had amazing views. The breakfast was very good with lots of options and local specialities as well - and best of all it was complimentary. The location was also good, close to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. They even had a shuttle to I think Bar Harbor that we saw a few times but didn't get a chance to use. All the hotel staff were nice as well. We were a little hesitant to book when we saw it was a 2 star hotel, but we are so glad we chose this place. We asked them why they are only a 2 star, and they said because they are seasonal and have limited amenities - however this was definitely the nicest Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at, and I 100% recommend this hotel.

Avoid this hotel for business travel if plans might change. Despite being sold out, they wouldn’t cancel my reservation without charging me, even after I explained my need to book another Hilton property in another city due to a change in plans. The manager offered to cancel the room but said that he’d still “have to” charge me full price - basically he prioritized reselling the room and making double over a 10+ year Diamond member customer loyalty. Disappointing experience—Hilton headquarters should investigate. Not recommended for business travelers.
