I want to start by saying I’m not someone who usually complains or writes reviews, but after the way I was treated at checkout, I feel compelled to speak up.
After checking out on February 28, 2026, following a stay where I spent over $300 while attending the state basketball games, I received an email from the manager, Angel, accusing me of smoking marijuana in my room. I do not smoke, and I certainly would never smoke in a hotel room — especially not with my two young children present.
I was told that another guest had complained about a smell on the third floor where I was staying and that when housekeeping entered my room, they noticed a strong odor of marijuana. The manager even stated there was a strong possibility the room would not be rentable because of it. However, I later confirmed that the room was in fact rented out afterward.
What is most upsetting is being accused of something I absolutely did not do and then being told I am no longer allowed to stay at the hotel. That feels unfair and unjustified.
Ironically, there were several issues during my stay that I chose not to complain about. Other guests’ children were running wild in the hallways at all hours of the night. At the pool, my two young children were nearly knocked over and almost drowned by other kids who were unsupervised and screaming, which forced us to leave. The breakfast made both me and my children feel sick — it appeared undercooked and was not appetizing. The carpet in our room was stained, and there was already an unpleasant odor upon arrival. Despite all of this, I did not complain.
The front desk staff were wonderful and very kind, which I truly appreciated. However, the accusation from management and the lack of response when I emailed back to defend myself completely changed my experience.
Being singled out and banned from returning over something I did not do is extremely upsetting. I believe the situation should have been handled more professionally and investigated more thoroughly before placing blame.
Overall, after spending hundreds of dollars and trying to enjoy a trip with my children, this experience left me shocked and disappointed.

We had our CPR class here. It was in a conference room next to the pool. The ladies room was just between the pool and the room we were in. Jan 2026 The drain in the floor of the ladies room smelled horriable. Smelled like there was a propane/gas leak in there and some ladies even got headaches. It was gross, and I won't be back! Not even for a class!

This hotel has had a recent refresh, and looks very new. Rooms are very well maintained and clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. It's located next to Margarita's Mexican restaurant (excellent food & drink).

Beds were hard as the floor. The service sucked. Location isn't special or close to anything.
