  Spacious rooms, Good AirConditioning, Nice lobby Bar & Restaurant. The housekeeping needs some improvement and the bed is rather worn out. The girls at the daytime reception have been exceptionally helpful answering my questions and sorting out my requests. The hotel itself is far away from the city and the airport too, so bear this in mind when selecting your location, there is absolutely nothing around to do, you need a 20 minute taxi ride to get to the city center, to be able to visit a bar or popular restaurants.

  Air conditioning did not work despite manager/maintenance man intervention with outside temperatures being +35 Celsius or higher. Only fan which would shut off every 10 minutes. Staff member told me at reception that a previous guest complained the air conditioning did not work but evidently, no action was taken to correct the issue. The hotel blaming me and my wife for arriving later in the evening and raising the issue is concerning given these complaints were raised days/weeks/months earlier by another guest. Door handle fell off, picture attached. Hotel dropped off one caffeinated coffee pod in morning. For a hotel that had hosted the England men’s national football team, it was an incredible disappointment. Will be seeking compensation from TD for Expedia.

  It is very evident that this property was converted from a 3 star verde hotel which it was before and it does by no means meet western IHG 5-star hotel standards, which is however not a problem but unfortuntately the rooms was not very well cleaned and smelled very moldy and unpleasant. Also there is no adequate security meassures, you can walk in through garage and get without key card (as this infrastructure is disabled) in hotel and in lift and to room floors and rooms don't have a additional deadbolt which should be expected in this category... The food taste and also selection is a disappointment to be honest. However the spa was nice and adds great value to the hotel. Edit: Lying about thé security (I have tried it) in reply to this review thé hôtel is really not nice so I changed from 3 to 1 star…

  Our dissatisfaction with this hotel is due to AIR CONDITIONING not working in 40 degrees Celsius heat. For a five star hotel, you should have central air conditioning working in all rooms. Our room only had a fan working and was very humid, black mold in the shower can attest to the humid conditions. There is one thing with AC not working, but how the issue was dealt with is another concern. Informed hotel front desk. Manager initially said another guest complained previously about air conditioning not working. Then manager came to room with maintainance person. First only turned on fan and blamed us for allegedly opening window or playing around with control panel. Temperature in room was 24.4 degrees. This did not work. They came back 30 minutes later. Turned off all electricity to room. Manager told us they “set” the temperature to 17 degrees. Temperature overnight went down to 23.4 or 23.3 degrees. Room was extremely hot. Outdoor temperature overnight was the same or warmer. When we asked for a different room that had access to air conditioning they said it was too late and nothing could be done. Other concerns: Door handle was broken on inside. Coffee provided initially was only decaf and in the morning, only one regular coffee pod was brought to the room despite the manager the night before observing that our room only had packets of decaf coffee and tea. A hotel that has hosted national football teams from countries such as England and Poland should have higher standards of comfort. Only the hotel pool met our expectations for comfort. Definitely not a 5 star experience.

  Unser Aufenthalt im voco Hotel Podgorica war einfach hervorragend! Das Hotel ist modern, stilvoll, sehr sauber und bietet einen erstklassigen Service. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Ein ganz besonderes Lob möchten wir Marija aussprechen. Sie war außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Sie hat sich für jedes Anliegen Zeit genommen, uns mit viel Engagement unterstützt und war jederzeit mit einem Lächeln für uns da. Dank ihr haben wir uns besonders willkommen gefühlt. Solch einen hervorragenden Service erlebt man nur selten – Marija ist eine echte Bereicherung für das Hotel! Wir können das voco Hotel Podgorica uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt!
