The outside looked fine, but when we walked in there was a child behind the desk with a parent working there. The child was wearing a logo shirt for the hotel. I stay at Holiday Inns and IHG often, and this is one I will skip next time. Everything feels very dated and dirty, and not up to your typical IHG standards. The painted popcorn ceilings have a faint Golden Girls vibe. The AC works well, but the shower was a trickle and the water backed up and pooled at my feet. The toilet did not want to flush and I had to lift the back of the tank to work on it. The lobby looks ok, but the halls and rooms and elevators are shabby.

I was amazed by the way that they connected with us and with all of the people there to make it feel truly welcoming. Ron's kindness and dedication to making the breakfast experience positive made our day each day that we were there. I will always stay at this hotel when I go to visit my family in Baltimore because of them.
