This hotel was excellent. The front desk staff was very helpful and very friendly. We had a two bed room which was very spacious. Room also included a table and chairs in the “kitchen” area. The bathroom was quite large and included a huge walk in shower. I have never been to this area before, but I hope to revisit and know we can stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here. The first night our heat did not work and the next morning Foday from maintenance personally moved us. He was so kind and very helpful. Everyone at this hotel are extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is super clean and the breakfast well stocked. We love how close it is to the conference center across the road. The parking is convenient and added to your room rate. Super location and excellent stay!

Our family travels a lot for my 2 girls who do competitive cheer. Often we will book with Hilton/hampton and have had wonderful experiences. However, this time was significantly different. I booked a room through Expedia and because of the impending storm coming towards Washington, the cheer competition organizer canceled the event. Super bummed and within less than 72 hours so I anticipated having to pay a cancellation fee. However, I have had back and forth between Expedia and the hotel for 3 days now and every time I talk to someone it’s something different. 2 days ago it was the room would be refunded with a cancellation fee, yesterday they were waiving the fee I just had to have Expedia call, even though Expedia told me I had to call them. I’ll spare the details but after calling for the last 3 days back and forth and having 4 separate hotel employee's tell that because the stay is being canceled due to weather we would get a refund, now I’m being told no. And despite reaching out to the manager, Capria, several times, I cannot get ahold of her. I cannot speak to the hotel staff directly myself because I booked through Expedia, but was given caprias name to have Expedia talk to her, and now she’s not even speaking to them. I totally understand that they are likely overwhelmed with cancellations with the storm coming. And I get that there is policy. However, several parents from our gym were able to get the manager to approve their refund but then a few of us are left with denials and unanswered messages/emails, when we all have identical situations. Honestly, it’s unacceptable. The parents on our team like to book with these lines of hotels but moving forward, I’m not sure how many of us will feel safe doing that after this experience. We spent a lot of money for 3 nights at this hotel. Even the ones who got refunds. What’s to say this doesn’t happen again and they are the person being told no while others are hearing yes. Just completely unacceptable.
