Gosh!
What can I say, this trip was one of my best.
- Location is perfect. 5 minutes to the beach and fast food next door
- Breakfast was always excellent. Presentation, quantity and quality 💯
- It all started with the warm welcome *my name* on the tv when I came in… That was so sweet❤️
- The room was minimalistic but artistic and practical. Storage space was artistically positioned without being obvious or taking away from the beauty and practicality of the room.
The bed was great, sheets were clean, lamps were cute and effective, lighting was not glaring or dull. It was perfect 🤩 💪🏼 👌
- Towels were sufficient, shower gel and hand soap smelt great and though I always bring my own body wash , this was one trip where I did not have to use it and that’s just crazy🤣🤣 Cos I’m NitPicky🙈 like that.
- I wished the fridge was a little colder and roomier BUT then again the staff was great and helped me freeze and refrigerate what I needed. So this does not take away from my review
- From the front automatic doors of the hotel, you could tell A CREATIVE HAD A FIELD DAY😎 and they did a great job🤗🤗…from the cute and catchy welcome lines on both sides of the main exit using TRU creatively,…it was fun to read😁😁
Finally a huge shout out to Khaleel, Katie and Susan who made my stay memorable Dec 17th-24th 2025❤️🎉🎉❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
If you’re ever in Ocean City…THIS HAS TO BE YOUR CHOICE!!!
You have my 10/10 across board 💯💯💯

Fun vibe/modern decor thoughout the common areas and the room. Lots of varied seating throughout common areas- couches, hanging basket chairs, hi-top and standard seating with tables. Fun things like board games, arcade-type games, and work stations. A fireplace (not sure if functional? Being New Year's Eve, it's attractively decorated with logs and Christmas lights.) "Hydration-station" (water fountain with water bottle filler & ice machine with disposable ice buckets.) Small gym. Good coffee 24/7 in lobby, with decent sized cups! Breakfast has machines where you watch your pancakes being made on a track, then all sorts of fun toppings, and a yogurt parfait station with toppings as well- plus the usual buffet spread- eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurt, breads, fruit, juice. I haven't tried the pool yet but it's a good size with bay and ocean views and recliners plus outdoor sectional couch type seating by the pool. However, I wish there was a hot tub.
My room is a bit small but efficiently laid out, but the walls are THIN! The window shades are on metal pull-chains and every time my neighbor adjusts theirs it sounds as if they're in my room! Disappointed there's no microwave, and the small fridge does not have a freezer compartment- unfortunately I picked up some Klondike bars before I knew that. Modern glass-door shower & sleek, modern controls on the fixtures, and the toiletries are also modern-looking & pleasantly fragrant. Funky storage and decor throughout the room- lots of exposed hooks, small, open closet with bold, industrial style piping for the hanger rod, bold geometric print on bathroom wall & window shade & ultra modern lamps... think IKEA!
YES, that's it- I feel like I'm staying in a staged IKEA room! LOL, in a good way, I guess.
But like IKEA, it seems to be all about staging an image and less about real quality and comfort, and I feel like the neighboring rooms are just a step around a partition without a real ceiling (that is NOT true- the walls do indeed extend to the ceiling... it just FEELS IKEA-like.) The bed is alright, but the mattress shifts, so I've whacked my leg on the platform a few times while moving about the room... the fresh white sheets look great but are not the best quality and have some visible "pilling", and the shower door leaves a trail of water on the floor every time it's opened, even though I haven't yet showered; it "icks" me a little to think it's water from the previous person's shower.
All in all, I appreciate the vibe they were going for here.
