Great hotel nice and clean. Ocean view. Pool was closed (seasonal) and not sure if it had indoor one. Only bummer is you have to pay for parking and NO COMPLIMENTARY breakfast.

We stayed at the end of October and were not informed that we'd be charged $10 per day for parking. During peak season, I can understand charging a small fee, however during off season, when OC is basically empty and you can park on the street for free, it's a bit ridiculous. Apparently, this is a new policy implemented this year and you won't be told when you're signing in. We had planned to come back for a winter getaway but I think we'll find somewhere that doesn't sneak in extra fees.

I first stayed at this Holiday Inn in Ocean City way back in 2014, and honestly, the experience wasn’t great back then. The rooms felt old, and the pool was pretty gross, full of hair and just not clean at all. I decided to give it another try in 2025, and while I can tell they’ve redone a lot of things, like updated the rooms and cleaned up the pool, it still doesn’t quite hit the mark. The place looks better, but it still has that musty, old hotel smell that never really goes away. The beds aren’t very comfortable, and the pillows are super flat. It’s definitely cleaner than it used to be, but still not up to what you’d expect for the price. The staff was very nice overall, especially at the front desk, they were friendly, helpful, and professional. But there was one cleaning staff member who really didn’t do their job properly, which made part of my stay unpleasant. I’m not naming anyone because I don’t want to get someone in trouble, but it definitely stood out. The pool was much cleaner this time around, and they’ve clearly been keeping up with maintenance, which I appreciate. Still, for the price, I expected a little more comfort and freshness. Not the worst stay ever, but probably wouldn’t come back again unless they make some major improvements.

The common areas and suite itself were clean and spacious for a good deal. Only thing that could have been better about the room would be a smart TV. Beautiful views, perfect location on the boardwalk. Heated outdoor pool, but the indoor pool was in the middle of the restaurant. Only downside was the breakfast, we paid for the breakfast package and it came with a limited menu and about an hour wait time. The full menu looked great, I would recommend skipping the package and ordering regularly because the prices were about the same for more variety and better food. Loved this place. Beautiful sunrises on the beach. Staff was so nice. Restaurant was great! 2 pools on the beach. If you like the beach but not the sand this does the trick. Rooms are spacious. We had a kitchen that we didn't really use but it was nice. The only downside is the tubs are super outdated and high walled. For a short person it is difficult to get in and out. For a person with mobility issues address that when booking. There is a bike and mobility scooter rental to the left of the hotel when going out towards the beach and boardwalk. We went to Assateague National park on this stay which is very close by car. We would definitely book here again.
