  The shuttle to get picked up at the airport takes forever and the man at the front desk insisted i already be ready at the pickup doors. I was ready but still waited over 30 mins after a long day of traveling. Additionally, i paid for ‘breakfast’ included in my stay, but the breakfast doesn’t start until 6am and i had to depart prior to then for my flight. It would be helpful to note this when booking. Further, the room was mostly clean but the remote was so disgustingly filthy. It looks like it has never actually been wiped… ick

  Got to the hotel and it was very very clean. The check in was easy. The shuttle from the airport was quick and the driver, Brittany was very helpful. She chatted with us and gave some great restaurant recommendations. The rooms were very clean. My only critique is that there are not more restaurants near these hotels. We do have to go a bit of a ways to find some dining outside the breakfast served.

  I never write reviews for hotels. But here I am. My mom and I travel once every winter together and normally fly out of BWI. In our 8 years of taking trips and doing the park/sleep/fly package, this hotel has been by far the best one yet. The man working the front desk was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were exceptionally clean and the transportation service to and from the airport ran smooth. The drivers for the shuttle service were great both ways, had good attitudes, friendly, didn't seem irritated that they had to do the job in which they signed up for. All around was a great experience and we will definitely be staying here again in the future.

  This Holiday Inn Express location is our go to for all of our sleep...park...fly get aways!! The rooms are always clean and ready. The front desk personnel is always courteous and helpful. A special thank you to Guest Service Manager, Al Fahad Kemal! Al has consistently helped us with our check-ins, questions and courtesy needs. He is a jewel!!

  As a Platinum Elite member, I’m accustomed to consistent service and flexibility with late checkout. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet that expectation. I requested a late checkout on the day I checked in. However, on the morning of checkout, I was then informed (with a 11:00 am knock on the door) that I needed to call that morning to reconfirm the request — something that had not been communicated at check-in and has not been my experience at other properties. After being approved to stay until 1:30 PM, I later received a call at noon asking why I had not yet departed. The mixed communication felt uncoordinated and unnecessary. The welcome amenity was not offered; 500 points were automatically issued instead. While not a major issue, it was inconsistent with typical Platinum recognition. The property has a large standalone parking lot yet charges $10 for parking without visible security, which seems excessive. Additionally, first-floor rooms near the lobby are quite noisy, as sound carries easily. One thing I always look for when reading a review is whether or not they lock the air conditioner to a certain temperature and whether or not they allow the fan on the unit to run constantly the thermostat will only allow you to turn the air down to 66°. The fan will not run continuously. Also the air conditioner appears to have a motion detector so if you were one of those that sleeps hot plan to wake up in the middle of the night, sweating as I did. Overall, not a poor stay, but the service and communication did not align with the level of consistency I typically expect. If management would like the names of the employees involved, I have them and would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further.
