- CDCharles DDec 15, 20253.0Location was convenient and although I didn't need them I appreciated that they had shuttle service to nearby areas. The hotel had all the typical Holiday Inn Express amenities I've come to expect including a nice breakfast. I wish the pool were enclosed for winter use but it at least looked nice. Host of the hotel staff I interacted with were very friendly and accommodating. A pet friendly policy would also have been appreciated as I needed to find a sitter for my dog. My biggest issue however was the hotel listing EV charging as an amenity. I consider this a lie. While there are chargers nearby they are not specifically for the hotel they are public level 2 chargers on the other side of the denny's. They are open to anyone and although conveniently located they are very high cost not a benefit of staying at the hotel at all. Not only is the cost about the same as level 3 Superchargers that cost is not well communicated including the fact that they charger an idle fees. That's probably not a big deal for visitors at the Denny's while eating but if you plug in expecting to let your car charge up over night be very careful and or set an alarm or you can wake up to a very high bill from the charger. I'm ok with them mentioned that here's a charger conveniently located nearby buck like how hotels often mention nearby parks, museums etc but to include it in the actual list of hotel amenities is disingenuous.
