Was checked into room 602, walked in to find a stripped bed and food on the table. Room had not been cleaned. The man at the desk was quick to put me i. Another room, #607. Atleast the bed was made but the bathroom floor looks like it hasn't been mapped in years. Im a diamond member with IHG and this is the worst experience ive ever had. Not only were the rooms dirty i would have spent 30 dollars less booking through trip advisor. Are IHG members not supposed to get the best rates? Paid extra for breakfast but I was supposed to get that at no additional charge. Im gonna have to rethink my membership.

I had the pleasure of Staying at this property for a birthday celebration my wife and I attended. Brandon was very professional and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. He’s definitely an asset to the hotel. If and when we’re back in the area visiting we’ll be sure our stay is at this location.

The staff are all wonderful! Big shout out to them; especially Brandon, who was just a ray of sunshine for the lobby area. Once you leave the lobby things go downhill quickly. The renovations/construction is not good. Rooms available are dated, bathrooms are not nice at all! Then there is a $15 charge for a dismal breakfast buffet. Honestly that should be free especially since the rooms are not good either. The location is good; but the hotel room and restaurant conditions don’t make me want to stay here again.

I have never been to a standard Holiday Inn that does not serve continental breakfast but instead charges $15 for the full buffet. Not Holiday Inn Express that would give it free, but regular Holiday Inn. On top of that, the bldg has been under construction and you are constantly tripping over plastic in and out the elevators. DC Holiday INN can do much better! My bathtub was very outdated with rust and not clean. Breakfast should be free for all if this!

I’m giving 5 stars because of Mr Brandon. The hotel needs refreshing but his hospitality was beyond expectations. We were in DC for a wedding and he was funny and welcoming. He’s a gem.
