We are staying ay top floor. Room are net and clean. But problem is No microwave 🙄. Has small fridge but No wires connection. For ice have to go all the way lobby to get it. It's has a small snack store, which has self service.

Great service and a friendly smile from the receptionist when I was greeted upon arrival. I had some mixed feelings about my room though. Right off the bat when I walked into my room on the 12th floor it was a little bit on the warm side. Thermostat was set to 68 but it was noticeably warmer than that. Wasn’t a huge issue as the sun went down when I arrived back after the Nationals game, and, after reading reviews and the hotels response to this issue I was expecting this. I did like the additional table and stool feature to my room so I could enjoy a late dinner. There were a couple dried up stains on the carpet near the window which were somewhat unsightly and while the main shower head worked, the hand held one did not even after pressing the button…and it also made an uncomfortably unusual noise while the water was running and was unable to determine how to make it stop.
Everything else was in working order, beds were fine as well. Great location as it’s near a few restaurants and just a couple minutes from the Greenbelt metro station.
Overall a decent place to lay your head if you can overcome the nits to pick about the rooms.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience felt too… memorable to keep to myself.
After discovering that the air conditioning in my room wasn’t working, I went to the front desk hoping for a quick solution. I was told—quite casually—that the engineer had already left for the day. Fair enough, these things happen. But the proposed “solution” was where things got interesting: if I wanted to switch rooms, I needed to completely repack all of my belongings first.
Imagine carefully settling in after a long day, finally relaxing… only to be told to reverse the entire process at midnight. There’s something oddly poetic about folding clothes you just unfolded an hour ago.
So there I was, spending a solid hour in the middle of the night. I suppose I should thank the hotel for the bonus workout and the opportunity to refine my packing skills under pressure.
In the end, yes, I got a new room—but at the cost of sleep, patience, and a bit of sanity. A more guest-friendly approach (perhaps assistance, or even a little flexibility) would have gone a long way.

This hotel could be cleaner but at 100/night I just brought my own mini cleaning supplies lol. And they are running on a skeleton crew so please be patient and mindful because the wait staff is doing the best they can with what they have

I came here to the Crown Plaza on March 15, 2026. The rooms are beautiful and comfy. The staff here is really friendly and professional. The only flip side when making a third party reservation is, you have to put a $100.00 deposit for incident everytime. Other than that, Makayla at the front desk is very pleasant and professional and I also met the General Manager Mike, who I spoke with about the $100.00 deposit rule and he was very pleasant as well.
My overall, my stay is great and they have a restaurant and bar downstairs which is convenient. The housekeeper is awesome as well. I wish I had her name. Let mentiin the bed. The bed is very comfortable and relaxing. I haven't slept this good in a long time. I am having heat issues and my room is always cold. Crown Plaza location is secluded but is by a bus stop within walking distance. I really love here.
