  This was a great location for our long weekend in DC. Less than a mile from a Metro station, we could drive and free park and then ride in for Sweet 16 game. Good size room enabled us to have a mini gathering with our daughter who lives in DC. Room was clean and comfortable, shower was hot with great water pressure. Ice machine was always working. Staff was friendly and the free breakfast was pretty good. I love that their coffee station offered fresh-ground and brewed coffee 24 hours. Would stay here again.

  Our stay was extremely frustrating and fell well below expectations. The shower was completely unusable—water temperature was either scalding hot or freezing, with no way to regulate it. This wasn’t just inconvenient; it directly affected our family. Our baby requires daily showers for a skin condition, and we were unable to safely bathe him because of this issue. We contacted the front desk for assistance and were told we’d receive a call back, but no one ever followed up. Throughout the stay, staff came across as indifferent and at times annoyed when we asked for help, which is unacceptable. Breakfast staff were the only bright spot—they were kind and welcoming—but the food itself was mediocre. Additionally, the elevator certification appeared to be expired (dated November 2025), which raises safety concerns. Between the lack of basic functionality, poor customer service, and safety questions, this stay did not meet reasonable standards. I would not recommend this hotel and would strongly encourage management to address these issues immediately.

  After arriving from a long flight already exhausted—and dealing with luggage being stuck at my connecting airport—the last thing I expected was to be treated with blatant prejudice by the security guard at the entrance. Instead of being helpful or professional, he was literally gatekeeping the property and telling people there were “no rooms available,” while clearly deciding who he wanted to let in and who he didn’t. When I reported the situation to hotel staff, he went as far as lying and claiming I had walked over from a nearby gas station, as if that somehow disqualified me from being a guest. Apparently grabbing a beverage from a nearby business is suspicious behavior now?

  Poor service from the staff, a terrible smell in the hallways and rooms on the 5th floor, like a dead dog, and even though we reported it, no one addressed the complaint. In the breakfast area, the staff was unpleasant and the breakfast itself was inedible. For $180 a night, one expects something of quality.
