Everything is super new and super fresh. Rachel (sorry if misspelled) was very nice and informative . A perfect person for the face of this hotel. If you like to workout, the gym is top tier. Great equipment. 10/10

As one of the hotel’s very first guests, I was impressed by how smoothly everything ran. The property is brand new, spotless, and beautifully designed with a modern, welcoming atmosphere. The front desk staff Tiana, Mark & Rose were professional, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable during a very stressful time. The entire hotel has a fresh, inviting atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The guest room was spotless and thoughtfully designed for comfort and functionality. The housekeeping staff Rianna made sure that the room was immaculate! The bed was outstanding — clean, supportive, and equipped with both firm and soft pillows, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The blackout shades and soundproofing were also excellent, allowing for much-needed quiet environment and relaxation made for restful nights sleep. The overall attention to cleanliness and detail was excellent. While breakfast was not yet available during my stay due to the hotel’s recent opening, the 24-hour coffee station, offered a variety of hot and cold options as well as market area and other amenities were already set up and convenient — a great touch, especially for early mornings or late night snacks. Free Wi-Fi, ample parking, and a small lobby market for snacks and essentials added to the overall convenience of the stay. The location is ideal — close to restaurants, shopping, medical facilities, and the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, while still offering a calm and relaxing environment. Even though my visit was unplanned and under difficult circumstances, the hotel team’s warmth, professionalism, and hospitality made a lasting impression. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality turned a stressful trip into a comfortable and positive experience. It’s clear this property is dedicated to providing top-quality service and comfort for every guest. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area — whether for business, leisure, or unexpected travel. Everything was seamless, from checkin to checkout. Good quality breakfast and also easy access to food and convenience spots around. My sons needed a late night snack and the hotel had too many nice options. Must visit!

They said they would be opened in July; didn’t happen. They told us not to worry they’d be opened August 1st, 2025. They refused to explain why they cancelled our reservation. We asked repeatedly if it was because the hotel hadn’t opened yet & they wouldn’t reply. We are diamond elite status with IHG; in which, Avid is part of that chain. We’re extremely disappointed & still angry that we were treated so poorly!! We can’t review the status of the hotel because we obviously didn’t get to stay there!
