The tub floods and the water doesn’t go down unless you manually put your hand in the water to drain it. Don’t book under a “non refundable” booking because you will be stuck with paying the full price no matter if you like your stay or not without any consideration to the conditions of the stay. Breakfast was 3/10. Customer service and the hotel management were on two different pages so don’t expect your problems to be resolved!

The exit doors on either side of the buildings didn't work One did not lock at all so anyone could come in the side entrance and the other one wouldn't unlock with a digital card. You had to walk around the whole building to get back in. While I am use to these conditions from Red Roof, I do expect more from Hampton Inn.

- MDMichael DaleOct 25, 20252.0Review of my recent stay: 10/20-22/25. The hotel lobby smelled strongly like sewage, fecal matter, and aged trash. This lingered during the two day stay. It was especially concerning since it originated from what seemed the service kitchen. The smell subsided after the first night but was noticeably present at breakfast. The staff did their best to mask some, but when asked, several folks seemed annoyed or put off that I asked. One team member said it was an ongoing issue that no one has addressed and that mgmt "claimed" it was from the nearby swamp. That's pretty impossible given the locality of the smell from the kitchen area. It was also obvious that some homeless unfortunately hung out in the lobby all day, but were totally harmless and respectful. Rooms however were absolutely clean. AC worked great. TVs and amenities in room worked fine. Towels were clean and soft. It was great having a couch in room. Seems the housekeepers have pride in their work! Absolutely appreciated them! So, when you're in the room, at least on the 3rd floor, you're solid. Otherwise, the smell was too off putting to want to stay there again, especially with a reputation of apparent issues. Safety might be of concern depending on your perspective and plans.
