Last weekend I attended my best friend’s 65th birthday and retirement party at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bel Air, Maryland, and it was fantastic! The accommodations were great, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make our celebration special. I have to give a huge shout-out to Britney and Cheryl who were absolutely wonderful. They were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire event, and their genuine care and attention to detail really made a difference. Between the excellent facilities and the amazing service, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be back for future events!

The hotel was really nice, and the service were professional. I DJd there for a 65th birthday party 70s theme. I wanna give a shout out to Brittany (Bartender) for everything she did. She put in a lot of effort and work making sure everyone was good. Thank you Cheryl for service at the front desk. And to the hotel chef, the food was good. I will be back to stay there again. 👍👍👍👍

My wife Karen had her 65th birthday party( 1970’s Theme) in the ballroom. And the accommodations were amazing. Cheryl at the front desk made everyone feel at home, she was friendly and quick to provide direction, information and guidance to a completely full hotel. And Brittany the bartender was phenomenal. She worked the bar like a seasoned professional despite the fact that she was alone and had to serve our 100 person party as well as a large wedding party. She never missed a beat , all with a smile. We will definitely be back!!

This hotel is the best!!! I hosted my 65th Birthday Celebration on Nov. 1, 2025 and it was absolutely wonderful! The staff is amazing and all my guest had a wonderful time!!! I have to highlight Brittany, Cheryl, Tracie and Angela! They are the best. Brittany worked the bar alone the entire evening and served all the guest with energy, fun, professionalism and a smile!!! She is a true gem! Cheryl was so helpful, knowledgeable and very nice! Tracie assisted from the beginning of our journey planning my celebration! I also want to give a shout out to Patti for all her hard work with her staff, thanks Patti!!!

If I could give this place a zero star rating, I would. I'm a Hilton rewards member and decided to book The Hilton all the way back in July as I was part of a wedding block. I received confirmation that I would pay when I arrive. Flash-forward to weekend I had a reservation in Maryland for Friday the 26th- Sunday the 28th. I had called the Wednesday and Thursday before leaving NYS, as I was nervous about traveling 6+ hours while disabled, to let the front desk know that I was traveling over 6 hours after work and I'd probably be there between 12am-3am. The front desk notated my account and said I was all good for Friday. I was, unfortunately, not good. Around 11:30, I checked in with the app and the app told me that when I showed up at the front desk, to show my ID and pay. I arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn at 12:30ish and went to check in. The man who checked me in looked me up before nastily telling me that he sold my room because my "card declined". I know that my card wasn't charged because when I HAD to pay the Homewood Suites, I got a fraud alert from my credit card. I let him know that my card wasn't charged and that protocol is to charge my credit card (put a hold on my card) when the guest arrives. I let him know that I called twice earlier in the week and booked my trip in July. He said "well, that was last week. Go see if they have something next door." Because at that point, the Hilton was sold out. I showed him my reservation though the app and that I had a room number that was being prepared where he reiterated that he sold the room for someone attending a wedding....I was part of that wedding block. Instead of demanding my room, I walked to the Homewood to see if they had any other rooms. They only had one room available, a king suite with a pullout couch. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to take that room, leaving my driver to sleep on the very crappy/dirty/dingy pull out couch for 2 nights. In the morning, I spoke to Mouna, the manager for both locations, for reimbursement since the front desk attendant messed everything up and she refused. I had to call the corporate office to have any kind of help from this as this is an independently owned business and they did NOT want to fix their mistake. If I ever go to Maryland again, I know to stay away from these specific Hilton hotels. BEWARE OF THESE GUYS!
